Things changed

Well i had planned on setting up a small closet grow but some unexpected shit happened now im about to be tight on cash for a little bit. So now im going to go back to a decent size grow.
Im trying to set this room up on a budget. But i want to keep the monthly bills as cheap as possible (i know it wont be that cheap). The biggest room ive grown in was a 8x8 but had it split in half part veg part flower.
The room over all is 11x11 i only plan on running 1 room. As of now my plant count is only 24 but i could add another 12 to it to make a total of 36. What i want input on is best way to light the room and cheapest grow style to get the most out of my plants.
I was thinking 2 4x8 flood tables with 4 1000 watters 1000 over each 4x4. Would obviously need a ac unit i have a large window i could put in a window ac to keep things cool. But again im trying to be cheap setting this up as its coming out of my vacation funds i had set aside.
Anyone got any input on what or how they would set this room up to save money on startup and how to maximize the space.

Run veg at 1/5 the space and flower at 1/2 the space. Stack the veg area if you have 8 feet clearance so its really 2/5. Put all plants on plywood and castors. Run seedling to veg for 60 days with manifolding/mainline and flower for ~60-70 days, try to match days. It also depends on where and how you enter room. My lights are on wheels as well so either I can move the plants to train or the light. Configuration is adaptable.

You want your monthly bills to be as cheap as possible then it's leds. Can build led 1000W for $800, higher up front better down the road, you won't need the a.c. unit unless you live in a hot local. To note don't shoot me for the above, lol.

I dont want to do perpetual. I want one big room veg then flower in. I want to maximize my space with the plant count

Does anyone have any input on the flo and grow ebb and flow system?

Also is the chiller a must have to run the system?

You maximize space by doing perpetual. If you do one big veg room then flower there is a lot of wasted real estate during the first 40

I know that would be ideal but i want to setup a 24 site hydro setup i dont want to have to worry about running 2 rooms and worry about different feed strengths at different stage of the plants. If i was going back to hand watering coco then i would for sure run perpetual.

That's fair, I agree running different feeds and keeping track is a hassle.

So i just got my first 4x8 flood and drain table. Now im looking into which lighting i should use. I planned to build leds but cant really afford the 1600 quote i was givin for the builds. So now im looking at hps or CMH which would you guys use. Also 600s or 1000s? Id prefer the 600s due to the heat in the summer but i dont want to underlight the table.

I'm an led guy so no help there, one thing about led is long term you'll recoup your money and won't need to a.c. the space, but come winter you'll need the heat so it really depends on what you want out of it.

I agree i loved my led rig i built a couple years ago but now im starting over and cant afford 1600 on 2 lights

If u can build leds for veg then let the 600s come in as well for flower

Makes sense to use more efficient veg lights as they are on longer
