So many states are adopting MMJ laws, and even two states that legalized. Can you say awesome!!! The trend is catching fire. States are broke and need the extra revenue. Shows like Weed Country are good for the cause scripted or not, the show didn't demonize cannabis as a matter of fact it did the opposite! The plants featured on the show were beautiful, and a child was given life saving medicine. I'm down for another season! Who would've ever thought you would be able to grow and medicate in Michigan of all places! We dreamed of a trip to Amsterdam as youngsters, today you don't have to fly across the world. Then the landmark 2013 Cannabis Cup the first to ever be held in the U.S. (besides the medical cups) Times are really changing.

IMO its not gonna be pretty.I'd rather have the gov't stick to ATF.But the med cases are different.I feel bad for people who can't get their meds

I'm 60 years old, I've seen it all and it's nothing but better everyday with a few back steps but nothing like "Back in the day."

I want to see what Kentucky does, we need at least 1 southern state and that would be a big one.

I remember people being sentenced to years in Texas for a joint. Anything has to be an improvement.
Been there, done that, got the orange T-Shirt and criminal record. I love Texas but the MJ laws are out of whack and I don't see them changing any time soon.

Then you haven't been to Austin, Houston, Dallas or the whole Eastern corner of the state. Or maybe you just tried not to notice the people, but as soon as all of them are informed that they can vote on legalization it will happen. And I'm sure the hardcore advocates in Austin can get the ball rolling. If not I'm gonna try to get it done the same way black people got let into "white school". Weed will be legal in Texas in 10-15 years. Maybe medical or industrial before that.

Fin I hope you are right about 10-15 years, but I just don't see it happening that fast. I expect Texas to be among the last to change. The "law and order conservatives" just have too much control. Never mind that legalization lowers crime, creates a tax base and makes for an overall safer state.

My county just allowed beer and liquor sales 2 years ago. The county is still dry, but a couple of towns in it have gone wet. It took over 100 years for that to happen.

Texas' problem is that it is a right wing, old white state... But that is already not true, Hispanic-White mixed families and individuals are the majority in Texas, making White a minority. So Texas is only right-wing and old white in terms of politics, but as soon as the youth start informing each other about politics a little better, things will get better. We just have to wait till we have an active Mexican community like Cali does, because white people are too docile, even in the 60s civil rights was necessary to start the real revolutionary happenings, stuff like Woodstock was just industrial. But once Texas has more Mexican mixed youth, and more active Mexican illegals and families, Texas will change for the better VERY quickly and at a faster pace than the northern states. The future of North America is brown.

hold your horses. its not as good as you think. some places are really horrible. you need quality and multiple. if you have indica dom only its not effective. ive come across place after place where you have no sativa it leaves no one with the ability to think or go about life. the places ive found are all bias to a certain type and full cities flooded with semi good to well theres really no selection as far as genetics go. things need to pick up in other areas before people say YES!. because if you dont the state will be flooded with shitty weed or poor genetics or lean heavey toward one type indica only. along with providing fair pricing.

We have legal weed in Wa. no state stores yet. Our weed guru is a guy from the ins. industry and so far I can't see much happing. There have been some people that have revived tickets for smoking while driving. It doesn't look like anyone that has been involved in growing is getting any of the big jobs. Things are changing. ya better start swimming or you'll sink like a stone for the times they are a changing.

Texas sucks. Been there once to visit my grandpa and the weed was straight garbage. Either you got mexican brick or straight schwag. Just one step above Mexico IF.
