Hi all!
I'm running a dedicated 20a run with 12 2 MC(alum jacket, green insulated ground wire). In one area, I don't want to sink it into a wall in a closet which is lathe plaster. From what I gather, best practice is to run the MC into a JBox, then run the individual insulated conductors through an EMT for protection. I've run this with 3/4" EMT, which I realize is much larger diameter than the MC. Is that an issue? Maybe I should have looked for 3/8" EMT? I have an electrician coming to give an okay and connect the circuit, but I want to take care of as much as possible before he arrives. Thanks for any professional input.
