thick trunks??????

It was a clone, that I did a bit different, and did a little bubbler to get some roots. I put her in dirt and this happened. I don't have experience in knowing why it did that. I usually do peat pots to dirt or dwc (clean off roots first, for dwc) and no issues, but first time for me on this one.
Did the trunk damage split at the soil level on its own or did you cut something off it there?

She just split, like she just ate/drank too much and burst. It might have been the big macs and pints I was feeding her, lol. She is a slow grower, and she's doing OK, just a weird one!

Wow.. That would be a awesome plant to grow under a really tall and wide hoop house. Spread it out indoor style and make a freaking privacy hedge. :weed:
They really were beautiful plants, so I still liked having them in the yard, even though I knew they probably wouldn’t make it. I still don’t know what strain they were. They each had a tag on them that just had the date they were planted and “GC” written in them. The only strain I could think of was maybe “Green Crack”?

Was thinking.. Do people have something like a tree salve that they use for sealing up where you cut limbs off a tree so you don't get a pitch leakage, but for weed?
These plants are sooo resilient. You can use tape for a couple of days, even if you completely break a branch off, tape her back on and she will heal super strong in a couple days. Sometimes though, the regrowth looks like a miniature plant growing on a branch. I had that happen once.

Yup that is the stuff.. Excited to harvest my Sideshow Bob looking sativa so I can take a close look at where I split the trunk and taped it shut months ago.

Like the sounds of this better. Also wondering about a DIY home remedy, surely people have experimented with something other than just wrapping it up.. Neosporin of sorts. But for weed! :weed:

This is the end result of trying to knuckle a branch, damaged it and couldn't repair it quickly enough. Left side is a branch, right side is a huge fan leaf with no branch.. Branch I damaged was just to young and small to wrap scotch tape around it quickly. Felt bad all day after doing it.
