Your 1 person exception just proves the rule dude. The number of people making as much as or more money legally off pot than illegally is dropping radically. Too many people tried to jump in the "green rush" and now they're dropping like flies

Yo Chop they're looking sick! I haven't been around here since you were first sneaking them out into the woods. Looks like they're growing up into some fine young ladies. They'll be hitting you up for cell phones before you know!
Dude if my plants start asking me for cell phones Im going to quit smoking for awhile lol, good to have you back though man, and thank you for your compliments. I wish they were bigger or bushier

I hope everyone had a good 4th of July mine was defiantly interesting.
My friends and I were chased down the street by a big ass mofo with a bat because we were lighting off fire crackers and bottle rockets, we had to jump a fence to and hide in the woods to get away from the dude. apparently he called the cops because about 5 min later there was two of them circling the block for about an hour, meanwhile where sitting there in the bushes getting our asses chewed by mosquitoes. Eventually they quit looking and we walked home but it was crazy shit. who calls the cops about fire crackers on the 4th of july? the dude even got in his truck and started driving around looking for us before the cops got there.

Ha why are my plants talking to me?!

Yea dude needs to settle down. 4th of July and fireworks go together like candy and Halloween or Christmas trees and Christmas. He's probably got 4 tweaked out Lhasa Apsos in his house pissing themselves while his wife flips the fuck out....

haha maybe, my thought was meth though. Dude was driving a jacked up dodge ram with roll bar and spotlights but maybe he is just compensating. I guess technically it was the 5th of July but still wtf lol

I did nothing and went to sleep early yesterday :)

I don't go out on a lot of holidays....
I can understand why especially after last night lol, but hey I'm a young guy still so I haven't quite grown out of the mischievous things.
TLD I put pics up there on page 26 but new one will be coming soon.

they looked good then.... but Im a bit more interested in how they look now :p

growing in the wild is a wild ride, and nature is full of surprises, I am always interested to see what happens :D

Hope they are loving it though......

You can say that again, It has been a very eye opening experience that's for certain. I am fairly new to this and all of the reading I did will never compare to the what I have learned through the actual experience. It is always scary and exciting every time I go out to check on them I have to wonder If I will walk up on a beautiful happy plant or a mangled stump of what was. Im going out now to check and see which I have..

Subscribed this is going to be fun to watch (catching up) lol... I hope to learn a few pointers as I am building a year round greenhouse grow climate controlled! gonna try and reproduce rain and fine mists ...I'll let you know!....

the largest one is looking real good its been dry all week temps in the 90s sunny and beautiful everyday, I notice the mainstem getting thicker. Likely from roots searching for water. Well It rained yesterday and today but remained fairly sunny anyway it was kinda cool but erie. Im sure they will really take off once the sun hits so I got another AACT brewing.

good to have you along man. sorry I missed your post until now. that greenhouse sounds pretty sweet, are you going to run water lines along the top with misters? It would be cool if you could set up an automated system that made it rain inside the greenhouse if It was raining outside of it but Im sure that would cost some bank $$. maybe if you used vibration sensors from a car alarm set to a high enough sensitivity rain drops would trigger it, then mounted to the panels so that when rain hits them It triggers the irrigation system

I like your thinking...lol what OI do and what I intend to do are not definite but I think it would be cool to experiment with silver sulphur oxide and actually create the atmosphere like literaly make it rain!!!!that would be cool!

It would be but don't you need pressure and temperature changes for clouds and rain and wouldn't the rh% have to be pretty high for it to accumulate and form drops. im not familiar with silver sulfur oxide or what effect it would have on the plants.

another thought i had was to run a closed circuit of tubing below in the ground 6' down where the temperature stays around 56F and circulate it over the plants so that depending on the humidity in the green house water would condense on the pipes and drip down on them so as the plants transpire the rh% rises and the soil is dryer but then condenses and replenishes the moisture of the soil. of you could use a dehumidifier to do the same thing and run a drip system off of the collectin resivior of the dehum unit.

Well alright, I guess I have to do one now.

Probably should be doing more but I have not been checking them as frequently because everything has grown to the point where it is difficult to walk to them without leaving a trail.

But I have fed twice since my last update
about a week and a half ago 2 days after a heavy rain I fed an AACT made up of Espoma Plant-tone Earth Juice Bloom and molasses, this has been my typical mix since I started feeding at the end of June but recently the yellowing of bottom leaves and the die off had increased so I adjusted my mix on the most recent batch, I dropped the EJ bloom used less molasses and added a small amount of Epsom salt and wood ash. I have been suspecting the slow growth on my smaller plant has something to do with the acidity of the native soil considering that the soil I put in was more than substantial as far as nutrients and more of the clay has washed over the soil I added and I think this is having an effect on the pH and nutrient uptake. Hopefully the wood ash has some effect on this and I can actually get something out of the runt because right now I'm looking at pulling an 1/8th from it. The larger of the two is actually doing pretty well I don't see much vertical progress but it looks like it will start putting on some buds pretty soon maybe the second week of August. The runt never fully reverted to veg so buds will be on it sooner.

Pics soon I hope to get out there in the next couple of days I didn't bring the camera with me this time.

next time then.... clay is typically Alkaline ;) (basic)
I know It typically is but there are blackberries and everywhere, And I know blackberries prefer acidic soil. Its a red clay I don't know if that makes a difference. but I'm just trying to eliminate it as a possibility. I also know that EJ Bloom has a tendency to decrease pH and so does molasses so cutting them out for this feeding as well.

Its my first outdoor grow and my first grow in this soil so I am still testing the waters.

I live around tons of clay soil, and grew up using it. Gotta make sure you break it up really well, it holds water too well, it doesn't allow for enough soil to air transpiration, doesn't allow for enough oxygen to penetrate to the roots being converted to CO2 and released through the topsoil. Suffocating roots won't pull water, or nutrients, wont get the plant what it needs to grow, but will fight and fight to sustain itself.

Cultivate.

thats why you have to dig one of those 5 feet wide, 5 feet deep holes, then fill it with amended soil, like FFOF and happy frog, or Promix
