These are my 2 white widows (pics) please help

there are 18 days old. are they growing at the right rate or are they behind? another thing would they be ready for nutes already?if so do i start 1/2 strength or 1/4 strength? i have another unknown tree which is about 3 days older than the widows not much of a difference. and any of your own comments would be good. thanks to you all

they look ahead of mine and i think yours are about the same amount of time. they look pretty good, and if i were you I'd try to keep the unknown plant away from your others just incase they arent fe-male, but if you can distinguish the sexes and know their all female then it doesnt matter what are you using... lights, sun... inside, outside?

ok they are 18 days old now? when will i be able to determine there sexes before going into the flowering stage?

In vegetative stage you need to at least reach 4 weeks of age to be able to predict their sex, and even that isn't 100% fullproof

how do you tell sexes... I can tell by hairs on the leaf, and now there are green things growing from the stem out of where a leaf is coming from.(keep in mind first time grower but i know a bit before i went into growing. Also i dont know all the technical terms of the plants to describe shit so just bare with the weird explinations) Also my plant smells alot like bud now.

it dont take at least 4 week to determine preflower depends on strian lighting times can effect pre flower dont start feeding too early in soil if you bought from garden center thier will be added feed in compost and you may be ok till you go into flower keep an eye out for preflower from 14 days get a magnifier will help

You just look out for a small flower that resembles either the male flower or female flower. But you should not eliminate any of them until flowering since some of them may not show that well in preflower.

thebigak, so preflowers can show as early as in as 14 day old plant?

look fine to me. what light are you using. i am on my first grow now. i vegged for about 5 weeks, and was never able to tell. 3 days after 12/12. they showed signs. three was males. you will know when you see the balls. you wont want to believe it. but you will know. i have never seen a male plant in person until few days ago when i had to kill them.

check out the GROWFAQ lot of info. lots of pic also. being a new grower myself the only advice i am comfortable to share is what i have already fucked up at. and how i gained knowledge. another thing you could do i go here Marijuana Plants | Marijuana Leaf | Grow Journals and read through journals that are similar to your grow. its where i got all my ideas. start you own journal and put a link in your tag. and while reading other ask question in their thread. and ask them to stop by your journal. the only reason i have any successful plants are from these practices.

o yea check out my grow. have not updated in a while. will tonight. have one plant that in soil hopefully about 2 more weeks.

no i will be transplanting to a 17 qt bucket. i made alot of holes for good drainage
