Thermometer

Shaded away from the light, light radiation heats surfaces but thats not the air so you dont want it in the light.

Yeah but wouldnt that give you inaccurate reading, because the plant is exposed to the light radiation ??just curious dont wanna ruin my girls

I dont see how that answers a very specific question.

After explaining light and air you just seem insecure to use the physics and give an answer.

If you dont know dont guess for others.

"If the thermometer is kept in direct sun for a longer period of time the temperature of its sensor will increase due to direct heat radiation from sun falling on it. Therefore, it will show a temperature higher than the true ambient temperature."

I just pasted that from a simple google search. If i came to a grow site and no one explained this but told ne to go buy ten meters and spread them round id think them idiots.

Whats the adversion to basic science and answering a question with an answer?
