Thermal detection

I just had a chopper pass above my block like 50 yards above the rooftops and it got me thinking. If they were looking for grows is there any way they could detect the heat from a 400W HPS chillin in my closet?

all I am sayin is you stick out more to a chopper right over your house than I do....I live in a huge metropolitan area....that's all im sayin....to be honest you are probably safer than me...but if we both had choppers over our houses...you would stick out more...lol...damn I am high...hope I made sense...lol
