The worst grow room malfunction ever?

OK so what's your worst experience, a friend of mine had a grow a few years ago, fancy hydro set up, really good home built tent. He spent a lot of money, done a few grows. Then something happened, everything was running smoothly The grow was about 3 weeks into flower, just taking structure etc. You know the score.



Then his water heater malfunctioned overnight, their roots got cooked, putting your hand in the trough was like sticking it in a hot bath. They were damaged beyond repair, the plants survived but their yield was pitiful.

What's your worst experience?

My fan broke with a 400w hps, cooked my current grow just a bit... luckily I made arrangements ASAP.

gray fuckin mould 3wks from the end of my k-2 grow about a year ago now.25 plant destroyed over night.one of my fans failed and caused the mould and once it started it spread through-out.so i cut my losses and started from scratch.....

I dunno if mine would be called a malfunction but the worst thing for me was when i was waiting for a phone call and working on the grow, so i had my lightbar cfl fixtures pulled out(8 40w bulbs in each one) so then i heard the phone ringing so i just quick went to grab it and didnt totally close the door to the room my growbox is in, on my way back I heard a loud as hell crash, in an attempt to jump up on my growbox my cat had knocked them on the floor, which broke all but 1 of them.

Damn i had skunk from weedseedshop you know. The cheap 14Euro ones. I planted 5. 4 of them died. 1 survived and it looked really good not into flowering yet. i used a homemade closet for growing total noob setup and only 100w neodynium Daylight lamp. But it worked well so i kept using it. then the lamp broke and i had to switch to another one which just burned my plant and dried it up at a night i was sleeping. im still mad at that lamp.. damn

mine was when i was trying to grow in my green house during the winter time and the temp in the green house dropped down into the low 20's and froze my girls. so cold the leaves would break in half. all 6 survived 5 witch did not yield like they should have. they really didn't pull out of the shock from the freeze to being slammed under 2000 watts of light. now on the other hand the 1 plant kicked into high gear and grew like the wind blows and gave me one massive yield.

My worst was when i was out of town and we had a power outage while i was 4 weeks into flowering . The Fucking lights were out for like 8 hours or some shit. Some ass hole drove his volvo up a fucking light pole.

ok so i spoke to soon. shit i fucked up and forgot a clone in the corner after i transplanted and cleaned the room. its been over a week know with no water. besides the freeze this is another.

I thought my backyard garage would be the ideal place to have and protect my garden untill three months later when i came in smelling termites cooking on my lights and saw them eating through just about all my wires!!!!! one of the worst days of my life, ive truely learned from this malfunction

its not a malfunction but ,i was out work'n in my grow area, came around the corner & a police officer was there to serve my court papers .also,we had an ice storm ,power was out for 7 days 6 mothers died as did 30 clones.

Poked a hole in one of my bubble buckets water gushing everywhere..was in attic above office. Ballast close by, but everything turned out ok.

my old man is not allowed any where near the plants. Everyone one he touches turns to dust in a matter of hours.
