Hi there just wanted a bit of info on foliar spraying,do i do it through out flowering and if so how often, have done it a couple of times so far, just my w.w and ak48 just starting to go a lite green, they are 12 days into flowering, this is my first flowering so still learning
Once the plants start to bud you want to be careful about spraying them down. Always when lights are off and be careful not to create a mold issue. I use foliar sprays during early seedling and early clone phases only.

Here's a picture of my babies, getting close to the end now... I am starting to smile a little bigger... Even with a huge exhaust fan and excellent carbon filter my shed still stinks... The front of my house stinks when the lights are on.:o.. A fan moves the plants and you can smell it, thank god I've only got three more weeks of this...:?

This particular strain of widow, has heaps of leaf on the heads, having a few light leaks didn't help either, which hopefully means lots of sugar production for my plants in the later phase... The plants are starting to struggle under the growing weight of the buds which is lovely..:-) Will tie them to my roof if I need to.. :-|

Cant wait to trim them up and take photos of just the buds, I have a lot of pruning coming up that's for sure...

Dave, any idea yet how the different prunings compare? I have a feeling WW doesnt live up to its potential without training/pruning.

Lacey how many weeks are you now? Ill be 7 tommorow. Think I have about 3 weeks also.
Hi Businessman :-)

I am about 8 weeks now (56-57 days) I think, I am only roughly keeping track now... Just waiting for the plants to tell me what to do with them....:-) I am going to push them as far as they will let me that's for sure... I'm aiming for a "couchlock" stone...

I have foliar fed as far as 5 weeks into flowering with no ill effects. My humidity also hovers around 40-45 with the exhaust fan running at all times. I also dont use a oscillating fan in the tent, yet no problems. I do it right before lights on, so the light + heat helps evaporate it a bit faster.

Well from my first 4 ladies, 3 topped, and one untopped, the topped one is a bit fatter in the main cola than the rest. She was in second place for awhile, but really fattened up a bit in the last two weeks. I still think my trifoliate plant will beat her still as she has 3 nice colas that are nearly as thick as the untopped one.

Ill be doing a secondary harvest with this group due to two long flowering sativas in the tent with them, so it'll be a little over a month before I can get final yield of them.

Ill let you know results from them when done.

In my second batch of girls, there is one fimmed, and 3 untopped. I would try to compare their results to the first group, but the height difference would give me somewhat crude results, and the secondary harvest fucks things up good. But its better than nothing.

I just want to say, typing all that out took forever. Im high and my mind keeps wandering constantly as I try to type.

Ripdamon go ahead and sample your wares. Your over 6 or 7 weeks in now I think. Treat yourself to a little treat..You've earned it.

Oh and I bought my Fiskars micro-tip snips today. I can't wait to use em in a week or two. Just need to go to radioshack and buy a pocket microscope now.

How long do most of you flower your WW for? I'm approching week 11 and was thinking about mabye going one week longer, because on a couple of them, the catalysts just exploded like crazy and put out more white hairs. Anybody ever held off for 84 days of flowering?

Dave those are from seeds I guess so not exactly science in comparing results. Im surprised your topped one is a bigger main cola. Id think you'd just get bigger side colas.

The untopped one has the biggest cola.

Im hoping to have some nice pics in a few weeks of one of my other untopped girls. She's outpacing them all regardless of topping or fimming, or left alone. She's nearly 2x as thick as the sisters at the same age.

I took my first 2 widows when the trichs were mostly cloudy just to see the difference and have 2 others that I am going to push until mostly amber. I want to see if the time difference is worth the wait. I am betting it will be. The 2 that I harvested taste amazing and surely get the job done. Cannot wait for the next 2 to compare.

OK so i had a burnt batch of buds due to my hps being way to close. I cut about a quater o and have been drying since Saturday. So last night of course t still was not dry and of course the THC still needed more activation so i popped a bud in the microwave for like 5 seconds on like 10% power. I smoked the j and i was pretty damn stoned. It was more like while smoking it was real light then BAM that stuff had me, dont know if it was cause i was tired or what. Next thing i know i opended my eyes and the sun was out and the birds were chirping. I can only imagine a proper dry and cure how this White Widow could be.

Noticed a new flush of growth today, and the older growth is getting more red hairs. I think I might try turning the day period back to 11 hours. Really want to finish these up. EVen if it means less yield, since its my first crop, and they are damaged anyways, not sure I'll get them thru another 3+ weeks.

I wonder about the light cycles tho, 11 hours is the shortest days we get here in the darkest part of winter (not that dark tho its So Cal). So outdoor weed never sees a photoperiod like that. Really it finishes before it sees a day as short as 12 hours. Im talking complete darkness not sundown.

And I went into this expecting my Super Skunk in 8 weeks. The grower the clones came from said 8 for the SS and 10 for his WW. Maybe it was the abuse I gave them.
