That is so dope! I need to do some homework on how to do that with one plaint. How do you get the bottom collas to reach the top like that?
Looks Pro!
He is using the Scrog method of growing. It is easy to do, and cost very little to add to any grow. As far as all of the branches becoming basically main colas, it is a simple hormone change in the plant. As soon as the top cola isnt the tallest one on the plant there is a hormone shift in the plant that tries to make a new main cola. Side branch growth will take off. This is triggered by simply training the top branch lower than the others by using a scrog or any other low stress training techique. Try it on your plant. grab a soft string(shoelace for example) and tie it in a loose loop around you main top. gently bend the branch over uintil it is lower than the next tallest branch. pull the shoestring tight downward to hold the branch in place. tucking the string under the pot usually works very well. within the next 7-10 day, you will notice an explosion of growth in all of the secondary branches. continue to use the strings to level all of the branches out as they grow, and you will end up with a plant of all top colas like the one pictured above. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Dude that was so helpful thanks.
I think after my 2nd grow I am going to try to do some topping on my plaints.
Then on my 3rd I would like to try what you are saying.
Thanks for the schooling.

i cant wait till i start growing my ww man its gonna be my best grow so far

really? I am a bit of an impatient grower and I've got a notoriously slow strain of white widow... I've got White Rhino seeds in my humidy crib and I'm hoping to get a female there, Widow is a good smoke, but the rhino I reckon is tastier...;-)

Who's strain & whats the taste like with the rhino? I've been growing DP WW & it bombs me like nobodies business but new tastes are always welcome. The ww is spicy and dank at the same time, even a bit of pepper taste to it.
Baked again.

I got my White Rhino and White Widow from buydutchseeds.com. Yup my widow is dank, very spicy almost lemon peppery...I haven't crossed them together yet... That might be an intersting plant...:?:

I am down to my last bowl, how depressing....:-(

Well, if its any consolation I'd smoke you out if you were in my neck of the woods - sharing bud is cool.

I am so bloody excited.....:bigjoint:

I bought some seeds and split them up and gave some to a friend as you do, trying to split the odds on getting as many females as we could, I gave him the rhino and said good luck see you in a couple of weeks... Well as luck had it he had males... Instead of lemons we made lemonade and put it next to my female of white widow and let nature do its thing..
Quarantined away from everything else of course...

Well now I have successfully cross bred and germinated white rhino and widow... I cannot wait to see what these bloody things look like....I feel like a friggin scientist..... :bigjoint:

How chuffed am I? Just bloody ask me....;-)

...way to go!!! wish I had access to some morew high grade strains to cross with my widow.................
I've got some that I was told were green crack, but I've since learned that G.C. is still clone-only......................figures...............they did come from a known bullshit-artist!!lol
Anyways.........guess I'll wait and look for some extra nice bagseed to come along and give it a whirl. I've only been growing for a short time, so I'm in no big rush to start a breeding program, but I would like to have more than one variety...

I bought my widow and rhino seeds from a great seedbank that have the best stealth delivery... That's the best way to keep a variety of strains... My plan is to have about 6 mothers of really nice strains so I can pick and choose which strain I'm going to grow...

.....I was lucky and adopted my widow grow as established clones from a broken home, and have progressively built it into what I have now, which is a perpetual bloom cycle!!!
I'm just WAY too noid to order seed through the mail.....
