They are free to elect who ever they want, but not if they have their way, they need to cheat to win and the laws the red states recently passed reflect this. The republicans turned their states into shitholes for the most part, but racism and stupidity helped too, the more racist the district, the more corrupt and stupid the congress person and state government (we can provide many examples). Trump is going to prison along with many others and the republicans are coming apart at the seams. Looks like ya missed the insurrection in DC on 1/6, ya should have been there, maybe you were!

The investigations are beginning to gain momentum and it's not looking good for the GOP. The big lie like the covid lies are falling apart in the face of reality and daylight of truth. Antivaxxers, anti-maskers and rightwing talking heads are dying like flies from covid. The republicans and Trump created a monster with covid lies that they lost control over and the monster is consuming their base, those it doesn't kill, stand a good chance of an attitude adjustment. I can't help but believe this covid bullshit, along with Trump and his minions trials, the 1/6 insurrection and the exposed big lie, will hurt the republicans in many states, even red ones. We have seen the stupid run deep in some red states though, we'll see at the polls, if it was just a minority of blowhard racist assholes or if the state is Hell bent on mass suicide.

That might be dangerous, inquiring minds want to know, like at the FBI, who are making a big fucking list. When the democrats gain a majority, that list will be part of a domestic terrorist watch list, no fly and no guns, social media posts will be an important part of identifying those for "special" treatment.
