Mysetup:
2 600w hid lights (1 hps 1 mh)
Black Gold organic soil (OMRI listed)
3 gallon pots (and a few single gallon pots)
fox farm trio package (grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom)

Strains: 10 Mk's and 1 of everything else.
Dutch Passion - Master Kush FEM (10 seedlings/plants)
Kannabia - Smile FEM (freebie w/ order)
Sagarmatha - Strawberry d-lite FEM (my personal experiment)
Dinafem - Haze FEM (AUTO) (a freebie from the order before last)

all seedlings made their way above soil on december 20th (3 days after i first put them in the soil...note: i also didnt use paper towels etc...just straight from pack to soil)

techniques ive used this time around: LST, FIM (1st attempt), and super cropping.

all of these plants have been a pleasure to grow..none of which have given me any problems...no nute sensitivity...infact the master kush seems to be a heavy eater. in other words the fox farm feeding schedule and 3 part nute system isnt a problem for any of these babies...

im only 24 days into veg and i already think i need to send these things in 12/12...im using 3 gallon pots (which ive never used before) and im not sure how much more they can go without root space becoming an issue (biggest one is just over 1 1/2 ft tall...)

Sagarmatha's Strawberry D-lite: when u brush against the leaf in veg it smells slightly of strawberries...its a very faint odor...hope in flower it building upon that smell as its great...not sure if its the strain or pheno...

my poor baby:

this "cutting" is really a top that was found mysteriously on the floor yesterday. i suspect my stoned grow partner broke it accidentally...no biggie...i put it underwater...used a new/clean razor to make a 45 degree angle cut and soaked it in water ever since. its from one of the master kush plants.

my question is...given what did to it...how likely is it that it will survive? it looks decently healthy...

Dinafem haze: 80 day auto strain started nov 8th...which makes today day 65-66 or something like that..today i checked with my scope and found that 30% is amber and 70% is milky...problem is i only flushed last saturday...

questions about this are:
how soon can i harvest (normally i wait 14 days...however i dont want too many amber trichs at the same time...can i flush it more in an attempt to rid the soil quicker of nutes or what?

and how normal is it for an auto to finish so early ahead of schedule? (ie. today is day 65-66 of 80 days...and half of its life has been under 4 23w cfls...the other half is spent under the hid's with the rest of my plants.

MY LAST QUESTION...how long can/should i veg these plants until i flip to 12/12 considering they are in 3 gallon pots and the tallest is about 1 1/2 ft tall? im trying to avoid having to re-pot them due to them becoming rootbound...if left up to me i'd probably put them in darkness tomorrow for the next two days and start them on 12/12 saturday...or could i push these a little longer?

looks good, but the title of your thread implies something different IMO. I use two 600's (hps) in a 4x4 tent with about 10 ladies although I'm going to do 12 next time.

Flipping them to 12/12 depends on several factors. Most flip them based off hight concerns. A 1 foot tall plant may finish off from anywhere from 2-3.5 feet. A general rule of thumb would be to take your plants hight and multiply it by 2 or 3 and thats generally your finishing hight. Obviously a 2-3 feet tall vegging plant can get really fucking big by the time fruiting is done.

You also have a lot of plants for 1200ws. Generally when dealing with medium to large plants (2-4 feet finishing hight) you want each plant to get 200ws of light. Realistically 6 full sized plants would come out lovely with 200ws of light for each (i.e. a majority of the plant would be dank and not pop corn buds). Anymore plants may result in slightly higher total yield but less dank vs. Pop corn buds.

I'd fruit either right now or wait 1-2 weeks depending on your hight limitations. Plants get like yours in terms of growth stage get pretty large pretty fast when vegging and fruiting. Keep that in mind. When you take into consideration how many plants you have you might want to fruit when they're at their current size so you can maximize your light usage. When that many plant get larger it becomes pretty hard to get light to penetrate to the denser lower areas. You actually most likely will get higher yields if you flower plants at the proper hight with the proper amount of light for their size and numbers.

lol...what does my thread title suggest? call me slow...or stoned at the moment but i don't get it...i named it that because compared to all the problems i had in my first two grows my last two grows (counting this one) have REALLY been a big step up for me...like im blown away...so yea...i feel like ive "arrived" in the grow world finally. 4x4 tent...damn thats tight in there...im not sure how much floor space those babies take up...id imagine about 7 ft wide and 2 1/2-3ft deep (just a guess). i have mylar on those tri-fold poster boards (commonly used for science projects). this allows me to put the board where i need reflection the most... i think you'll be happy doing 12...just dont do 5 gallon pots lol.

well today i broke down and put them in 48hr darkness. since i havent used 3 gallon pots before im trying to make sure i flower quick enough to avoid them becoming root bound.

yeah even last time with 2 600's for 5 plants in 5 gallon buckets i still got about 1-2oz of popcorn buds...

thats why im trying out lst this time so i can make sure i keep then less than 1ft tall in height...im just saying they are tall measuring from the base of the stem to the tip of the top. i let my 5 plants last time veg for 29 days in 5 gallon pots and several roots where poking out of the bottom already...

i dont expect too much of a stretch considering its master kush. we'll see though...stranger things have happened.
