Ok I have 3 not posted...

- plastic rubbermaid trash cans for planting. Square in size for snugg fitting for grow room. 4 gallon version on rollback recently for $2.10 each. Drill holes in bottom...colors white, black, tan. Other sizes but this one is perfect...Also use them and other sizes for keeping water.

- cloning dome- In the salad section for prepackaged salads there is a large clear plastic tub version about 12L x 6Wx 4H" with a resealable top full of salad for approx. $3.50. After buying 3 and eating healthy place all three on top of each other and seal them using clear tape the size of duct tape. You can have a middle section to suspend the clones if you razor cut the size of 1 inch cloning cubes and the top the reopenable section to spray clones. Use a razor blade knike to cut one section out in the middle that you seal shut with the clear tape. Use velcro on each side to be able to raise and lower for allowing air circulation as needed. From the paint section buy a .99 white flat spray paint can and paint the bottom section from the outside so light won't go to the roots. Be sure to eat your salad....

- Plastic tarp for sectioning off veg and flower room. rolls about 8 bucks that are 50ft. long by 3 ft. wide. 4 mil thick. Double the tarp and velcro the rooms apart for open and close section. Use a staple gun for the top permanent section and use thick 2 x 2" from filing folders to staple permanent section so you don't ripe the tarp off. The double thick tarp velcrod to wall should take care of any light..

although wal-mart does have extremely cheap prices, it's because they are able to get away with a lot of shitty policies like paying shit wages for workers, running other businesses out, and using resources from very poor countries....in the end you may be getting cheap items but you're still supporting a very harmful corporation. vote by deciding where to put your money!
You know a lot of people talk bad about the way walmart treats their employees. Paying them cheap wages, no benefits, and yes your right.

However think about this. What about the consumer. Doesn't walmart have a responsibility to its consumer. To provide the cheapest prices. I mean that is the whole allure of walmart.

They are a breath of fresh air for me. Because I get tires of so many companies charging outrages prices. Every time I turn around the price is going up on everything.

And furthermore, if the employee is not satisfied with his/her wages, then quit. Go find something better.

I did the same thing when I use to work at Burger King. I was fed up with the pay, and what was expected me. so I walked off and found me a better job.

As far as running other business out of business, you can't blame walmart for that. Yes I watched the special, where companies were complaining they couldn't compete. But they did it to themselves. Every year they kept jacking up their prices, to increase prices. Never thinking about the consumer, who had to keep paying more and more each year. So here comes walmart with better prices, of course I am gonna shop there. I need to save money also.

I have no sympathy for these companies that year after year raised their prices, and now are suffering because of walmart. They did it to themselves. Rather than be satisfied with the profits they had, they got greedy, and wanted more and more each year.

That is the problem with a lot of businesses. They weren't satisfied with what they had, and kept trying to get more and more. And who suffered, the consumer. So here comes walmart and gives the consumer a great deal. Whats wrong with that.

And as far as using resources from poor countries, what do you think that walmart came up with that idea. Many a many a many companies do the exact same thing, and no one ever says anything about them.

I mean if you ask me the entire business industry has gotten out of hand. Allowing investors to put money in their companies, not realizing that now they have to show them a profit every year. And the minute they can't investors pull out and now leave that company trying to survive. So what then, now you gotta lay off people, raise prices, just to keep your head above water.

That is why this country is in the situation it is in.

Anyway just my thoughts. Sorry to ramble on.

If you have a Menard's they are even cheaper than Walmart. Cheaper than Home Depot or Ace Hardware too. Much cheaper. As in 1/2 price on all cfl, splitters, adapters, timers...etc.

I bought a 3 pack of 26 watt warm cfls for about $8 at Menard's. The Y splitter was $1.25.

As to the argurment that we are all killing ourselves by buying all this Chinese made crap? We are. We need to make ANYTHING in America...we don't. It's a looooong story as to why but greed on both sides of the equation is the basic reason.
You want cheap stuff to buy...and you want to be paid a large salary. The company wants to sell you what you want and not pay you a large salary. So they sell you cheap crap and give tiny salary to a foreign worker.

Then eventually nothing is made in America anymore and we have 10% unemployment with no real plan as to how to fix it.

check out the wrapping paper, (like for presents). they have some that are a lot like mylar, and a helluva a lot cheaper. one roll is just a couple bucks. put the backside out, and viola: mylar!!!

also, they have a 4pk of 1700 lumen, Daylight CFL's that only run 23w a piece, for under $7. (For $14 + 8 sockets, u can technically get 13.6k lumens @ 184w, and it could fit in a 3x3 foot area!) That's a lot of synthetic daylight for $14. They can be kept just 3-4 inches from ur plants too, w/good air circulation. Just be ready to move them up with the plants, cus they are hot enough to burn leaves, and prolly could start a fire, if you are really reckless.

BTW: Hemlock, if it is you that actually served us, I want to take a sec and thank you for it. I really respect our American Soldiers, and I appreciate everything you have, or even may have, gone through to protect me and my family and our country. Regardless of the "legitimacy" of the wars. As a soldier you can only follow orders. I am a military brat myself, so I can kinda appreciate your sacrifice more than most civilians.

THANK YOU! ;-)

I'm gonna try 4 sog clones 6" apart in a walmart 6x24" plastic window box. They're about $8 each and if they do well, would be easier and more efficient than dealing with 4 individual pots. I'll make root partitions out of 1/8" plastic sheet.
