Thanks to wal-mart i can get a whole lot
of things for growing that is very cost
friendly(CHEAP for new growers and
vets), such as:

CFLs, Duct Tape, Soil, Y-Spliters,
etc.........

So im making this thread for anything
you have bought, going to buy, thinking
about buying or something you know
thats may help your fellow growers
(MOSTLY ON A LOW-BUDGET)



Posting Guidlines:

I got two 4blub packs of 10w Great Value CFLs in the Light bulb section. I payed $4.44/each.

I will use all 8CFLs 24/7 to veg my clones.80w total.

The only other place I have gotten supplies other than a hydro shop is home depot they have numerous supplies but 1 I like to tell people about is a multi-purpose tray they sell for $14 which is great for flood and drain and I once bought a repti-glo uv-a uv-b reptile light at petsmart for $20
The only things I buy at the hydro store is nutes,rockwool and cloning gel.

cost only $2.50. The fans motor last for
2years. and all u buy is the sented oil
(really strong) for $3.78.
Covers up the smell of some 20+ flowering plants.
u could buy more if needed.

I have some air purifiers from wal-mart. They range from 15 - 70 bucks and the 15 dollar ones will kill your smell for a closet grow. They have a changeable carbon filter that lasts up to 4 months.

Yes that's the one. I walked in my house one day and said, " I smell weed!" Which isn't a good thing b/c I have people over to my house from time to time and don't want them knowing.

At first I didn't think it would work but I tried it anyways. It killed the odor NOT MASKED IT. It was used in a 5X5 utility room. I have a larger one from another company in my flower room and it works perfect. I wouldn't mind trying an ozone generator but what i've got is working fine.

Highly recommend the febreeze air purifier for small grows.

only thing i didet get there was pots anda my soil and nutts but worked greate im about go some clamp lighs and get some little clfs to add more to my room but its all in light section

I got some flouro 75watt "grow" lights for 9 bucks each. Just for side lighting.

Bought my timer.

Bought some paint mixing buckets to use as "pots". Got 32oz for my 12/12 from seed grows and the next size up for plants with a little veg time. $.97 each.

Bought my extension cords, perilite, some ferilizer/nutes...Root powder for cloning. Lots of stuff useable there

i just keeped my mouth close, that guy seemed like a crack head anyways.

so i just grabbed some cfl's and a few y splitters and 5 of them home depot 5gal orange buckets you can use for great pots.

Man buying supplies for growing gets hard sometimes.
When u ask about an item and they ask you what u
need it for its sometimes its hard to come up with a good

although wal-mart does have extremely cheap prices, it's because they are able to get away with a lot of shitty policies like paying shit wages for workers, running other businesses out, and using resources from very poor countries....in the end you may be getting cheap items but you're still supporting a very harmful corporation. vote by deciding where to put your money!
