So I have moved and have constructed another sweet set up. This one is better suited to my needs being in a cooler garage and containing water and drain :hump: I built it to be able to house 24 plants up to 6 foot or so. I had some juice wired in to add a lil more and will put a new panel in next.

I have 11 Herijuana started Mon the 21st running in the 3.5 to 4 foot range. Ebb and flo buckets feeding 15 min 4 times a day lights on 7 to 7PM. Im using Techna Flora nutes 3 step. Sure to grow inserts is my media Room temp 75 to 80 lights on and 60 when lights out. I took clones and this is my second run of Herijuana.

I have a monster NYCD going I got from a friend. She gave me one bean and it is MONSTER Im 98% sure tis a lil lady. Fingers crossed good strain.

Well ladies and germs if you have any questions fell free to shoot and I look forward to your support.:weed:

BURNING HYDROCARBON FUELS:
This has been the most common method of CO2 enrichment for many years. A number of commercial growers and greenhouses use it in their larger structures. The most common fuels are propane, butane, alcohol and natural gas. Any of these fuels that burn with a blue, white or colorless flame will produce carbon dioxide, which is beneficial. If a red, orange or yellow flame is present, carbon monoxide is being generated due to incomplete combustion. Carbon monoxide is deadly to both plants and people in any but the smallest quantities. Fuels containing sulfur or sulfur compounds should not be used, as they produce by-products which are harmful.
Most commercial CO2 generators that burn these fuels are too large for small greenhouse or indoor grow room applications. Some small ones are avai fable or a Coleman lantern, bunsen burner or small gas stove can be used. All of these CO2 generators produce heat as a by-product of CO2 generation, which is rarely needed in a controlled environment grow room but may prove beneficial in winter growing and cool area greenhouses.
The rate of CO2 production is controlled by the rate at which fuel is being burned. In a gas burning CO2 generator using propane, butane or natural gas, one pound of fuel produces approximately 3 pounds of carbon dioxide gas and about 1.5 pounds of water vapor. Approximately 22,000 BTUs of heat is also added. These figures can vary if other fuels are used.
To relate this to our standard example in an 8' X 8' X 8' growing area, if you used ethyl or methyl alcohol in a gas lamp or burner at the rate of 1.3 oz. per day, we would enhance the atmospheric concentration of CO2 to 1300 PPM if the room was completely sealed.
An enrichment standard of 1300 PPM was chosen as it is assumed that 1500 PPM is ideal, and that the plants will deplete the available CO2 supply by 100 PPM per hour. Remember, the normal atmosphere contains 300 PPM of CO2. A 100% air exchange (leakage) every two hours is assumed to be the average air exchange rate in most grow rooms and tight greenhouses. If many cracks and leaks are present, this exchange rate will increase significantly, but added CO2 (above 300 PPM) will also be lost. If a vent fan is in use, disregard CO2 enrichment, as it will be blown out as fast as it is generated.

Wow good stuff I will look into this. What is the talk of a generator and setting what timers to do what every 15 to 30 min ?

i have never done this
but when i go large this is what i'll be doing
i found this info onhere somewhere
and have done more home work on the subject
this is how natural gas co2 gen work
they burn the gas and then the gas is converted into co2 (and yes other shit)
but if it blue it mostly co2
i would throw a co detecter in the tent just to be safe
but the guy who uses this says it works gr8- i'll try to find his link

the whole thing is the generater (hot water heater, exhaust duct,)
the timers are for the fans
so that you can try to maintain a ppm of around 1500
and whin it say's "dail in" - its just talking about adjusting everything to try to get it just right
you will have to play around with it to get it right

i dont have an air tester to tell me how many ppms are in the air but i would just keep the flow of air moving in the room and out
untill i get one
this method is sure to work and at the cost of the air tester, if its even needed you will save plenty compared to buying tanked co2 not to mention people seeing you drag huge tanks in and out of your basement -
why not use co2 thats already being generated by your house

Im not completely in the dark on co2 and my two cents is its going to be hard to tell without a co2 ppm reading. But thats only two cents worth lol. coc can be dangerous if not handled properly. My other opinion is co2 is not worth it for small set ups. If your doing personals egh. Temps as well is a factor. But hey if you wanted to id definitely start your own thread on the topic and get 100 % focused feed back on that and keep it safe and knowledgeable dude. I have used yeast and water in bottles b4 and got like a week or so from that set up.

theres a guy on here that uses a water heater from a boat to gen some co2 for his grow give me some time i will post the link for you
if the flame is blue you'r good - i agree without a co2 ppm reader this method would be hard to dail in the right amount , but def. worth buying one just to get the free co2 - i dont beleave it to UNsafe to do this method, there are so many things around my apt the has a pilot light thats right around my bed room like stove, forced air furnish room, and hot water heater, all these thing use natural gas, and continuously burns a blue pilot light 24hr a day, and its winter time here so we use the furnish a lot more and cook a lot more - i figuer as long as you have the fans (outtake) exchanging the air in the grow area your plants would be fine untill you buy a air ppm reader- keep in mind plants breath this stuff

following right behind you. I got a few herijauna in rockwool blocks I am vegging out for a donator and 1 el monstre, a sannie freebie with > 20 thc, vegging too. Lol, the heri are nice but that el monstre is catching up from a few weeks behind fast. It is worth it, too. Cant wait. The herijauna is loving a nute str of 7-800 ppm just fine at a few weeks old.
