Hi everyone. The UK bank holiday has buggered up me knowing what day of the week it is, so this late weekly update is day 49 for Sour Liver1 (on the left) and day 43 Sour Liver 2.
Both have stopped stretch now, and I don't know if it is due to the squat bushy nature of the plants or the fact I have 12 bulbs spread evenly in the cab, but both plants seem to have naturally grown into a scrog type even canopy. I have done very little training at all. My cab is now pretty much full horizontally and I have about 5 inches between tops and the bulbs.
As per Mephisto recommendations I did a very light trimming of the lower, below canopy fluffy stuff and any older lower leaves that were not getting light. It has made watering a lot easier as I can actually get to the soil now, I had growth literally on the soil surface before, the plants were that squat.
Both girls have trics easily visible to the naked eye now. SL1 is showing some slight signs of what I think is K deficiency - some of her older lower leaves are getting slight burn on edges, slight yellowing between veins and yellowy brownish spots. I may have left her a week too long before giving full strength bloom nutes. SL2 has been fed exactly the same mix and is fine, but is 6 days younger which makes me think SL1 was late getting them. If I am wrong about the deficiency please let me know, I am happy to be given advice.
A group shot and a couple of close ups showing the trichs developing for you all. Taken with my phone so may not be perfectly focused if blown up on a pc screen. I need to start charging my camera batteries before I need it!
