I have been told that all the cool kids come to parties when they are well underway. I'm trying to sneak in with the cool kids.
Finally managed to finish off the previous shortstuff sharkbite plant I had a nightmare with (it was meant to be an auto, it wasn't, it totally filled my cabinet and the buds grew past the lights, but still got 101g dry), dry it and clear my stealth cabinet.
No pics yet as I am sure you have all seen a seedling before.
Soaked seeds in water with a drop of seaweed extract for a couple of hours then planted 2x seeds directly into into 11 litre pots. Using B&Q Verve compost (UK DIY stores own brand) with about 20% perlite. There was just under a weeks difference in planting both seeds, due to my darling wife not telling me she had used most of the compost in hanging baskets, tubs etc and I couldn't get any more for a few days. One broke surface last wednesday night, one broke through yesterday evening.
I will be growing in a small converted set of drawers 28" x 15" x 32". I use household led bulbs with the domes ripped off and use a dozen in total of varying wattages from 12-15w depending on where I got them from. All bulbs are 1520 lumens before plastic domes ripped off, so roughly 160w and 18,000 lumens but I have read that lumen output goes up roughly 20% without domes, so approx 21,600?
I haven't seen anyone else grow the sour livers this way, I am happy to be corrected, so hopefully it will be something different for you to see and comment on.
Thanks once again to
@Jack Vault and Mephisto seeds for giving us the opportunity to do this.
