I got stringbean #1 that I cut and re-rooted to finally show some roots on the plug and got her into the flood table. I also got my Samsara Flash Babylon auto in the table as well. Stringbean #2 is straightening out and beginning to grow normal (top left corner). I thought I was going to need to cut/re-root her like I did with the other "stringbean" but shes whipping into shape under the 1K.
Im at about 28" and all of them are responding well to the light and the distance.
PPM in res is quite low until I see some significant growth.
Looks like I might get 8 after all??

Here is a pic of my Skywalker that I took a little while ago. She just started her second week of veg. @Roger A. Shrubber, I took your advice and tied her up with plant wire a couple of days ago. I sprayed her with Axiom and she fell to the soil and didn't seem like she was going to get up so I staked her up. Excellent idea Rog about the plant wire; this is a great find! Thanks for the advice!

After I staked my Skywalker, I bumped the ballast up to 75%, (using a 400 watt Xtrasun MH in a Ultragrow 400 watt electronic ballast), to see if that would help the plants grow a little faster and maybe straighten her out a little. Time will tell...thanks for looking. Any advice, comments or criticisms would be appreciated. Y'all have a great day!

I really like those cement mixing pans from Home Depot. I have one i bought and i am picking up a couple more tomorrow because you cant beat their price compared to $80-100 other flood and drain trays cost. Glad everything is starting to shape up for you and like i said before i like your setup. Very cool.

I cant complain...they are tuff as nails, very flexible & easy to drill out for the F&D kits. I have under $25 in all 4 of the tubs for both tables. My first run with this setup was my last GG#4 and it worked FLAWLESSLY the entire time & was easy to break down and clean for the next run. I've also never had a more "low maintenance" system before. I found myself twiddling thumbs while I was running this system. I went back and saw your pics @VenomGrower6990
Are those catch tubs of flood/drain?

I just gotta say that Im noticing a lot of horizontal growth characteristics with these Skywalkers. I really aint buying the fact that 3-4 people all who use different lights and different growing mediums are all experiencing the same issues because of how were doing it. Considering I had mine under t5's then under adjustable 400W LED cobs and still had 2 out of 5 that grew like stringbeans and grew horizontally. I was catching bleaching on my other strains of autos while the Skywalkers were growing the way they did. Not bashing the beans, but I feel it needs to be noted some of the odd characteristics of this strain of auto since this is a comparative right?

Im not running F&D at the moment HydroRed. Just smart pots with soil and using the cement mixing pans for my run off with a hole drilled into the bottom attached to a drain hose so i dont have any standing water from run off. If i do plan to do F&D i will already have the pans to do it with. Just really like how you utilized yours and i will prob use them the same way you have. Really cool.

Ive got no issues with the growth of mine, no bushyness to speak of, Im actually really impreessed with how many bud sites there are on my relatively short height plant and not many fans leaves compared to my sativa, seems to keep growing straight up and not branch out at all. Atleast my 5

I hope mine take off now they have been transferred to the T5 tent to fatten up and finish there stretch, had to move the light twice today, grew atleast an inch in 18 hours

Heres the white light pics from tonight i said i would post. Day 45 above ground. GH Flora Series for nutes @460ppm and using silica and Liquid Seaweed along with Cal/Mag in between waterings. Watering every 2 days now. It was every 3-4 days so they are drinking more now. Still using 18/6 Light schedule. 2- 6inch fans for air flow plus the 4in inline fan to exchange air. Tent temps are 78F loghts on and 68F lights off. Humidity stays around 50-55%.

She will have faith. Shes just doing work underground ATM.
Yep, probably a lot of root stuff going on; you're right. I just look at these other pics of the same plants that everyone else is growing and comparing it to mine and I don't think mine can compete as of yet. I hope you're right and that she will take off one day and start growing in 3" increments.

The flip side to all of that is that I am using just what Rx Green Solutions sent me for samples, which is not the full line. So, maybe that's why my plant doesn't look like it's as advanced as everyone else's. I'll just grow her out to see how this Rx Green Solutions stuff pans out. If it doesn't, then it will be documented here.

Just something we are all doing together as a community and i think its great. Im not going to be judging anyone's growing abilty based off this grow there too many varibles. This to me is just kind of like a community experience to try out some new genetics. I think you and everyone else are doing great and hopefully having a good time and getting to meet other growers. As for the Rx Green Solutions you could be right. I have no experience with it personally but nutrients definitely can play a role in a plants life cycle. Hopefully your plant takes off and exceeds your expectations.

Thanks for the positive vibes VenomGrower6990! I still, as old as I am, have to learn patience. As of a little while ago, my Skywalker seems to have developed some larger leaves and is also developing newer leaves in the center of older leaves. So, I assume that the ad for my MH was right: a 7200k bulb is for "more aggressive vegging". I removed the corndog stick and propped her up with just the garden wire and she is still insisting in growing in a "flat" way. As if she is growing along the bottom of the cool tube. I predict that this will resolve itself once she goes into flowering. Otherwise, no real signs of stress of trauma, just a small healthy plant. I'll post pics again when she has more developments.

Do you guys think its to late to up-pot an auto after 32 days of growth? Im thinking of transplanting mine out of the 1gal smart pots and into the 3's I have.

They are 12-15" plants right now, I think Id be slowing there growth keeping them in the 1's until finish but am skeptical if I waited to long into there life

i think it depends on how involved the roots are with the pot, if you can get it out without too much damage, it might be a good idea, if there are roots sticking out all over the pot...i wouldn't.
this is something i thought of yesterday, looking at the few roots sticking out of the 3 gallon i put one in. its a smart pot, the roots grow through it, why not bury the whole damn pot in a 7 gallon pot and pull it out after harvest.....
