Hey bud how's it going?
I've only read bits and pieces about tissue culture, like you I'm missing the point of it, it appears to be making a simple task complicated?

I think @k0rps messed around with tissue culture maybe he/she could tell us the benefits of it?

Afternoon! How are we all.....

Quick question.....

I won one of those athena tissue culture kits...

I have had a look into it briefly and don't think I'm fully understanding the benifits, anyone have any info?
First off u can keep many strains no cuts just a tiny bit of growth in a vial so for a breeder like you its the future plus it can be used to help clean up certain things too

Then u got embryo rescue for seeds that wont pop they can get em going and if they can get even just 1 living bit they can cultivate that grow it into a callous and then grow that from there into a plant not with weed but with other plants they have popped seeds that are thousands of years old with tc and embryo rescue

@Star Dog cheers man hope so i saved bagseed and stuff gifted to me from folk through the years fingers crossed cos its mostly classics and namless things that were good some was labled the majority is mixed up just hope they get there lol

Blueberry twist.
View attachment 5360447
Its shape and bud structure remind me of 90s Dutch passion blueberry?
The tell tale for me was the stems too the lighter colour of green against the purple red stems all stripey its pretty much a giveaway when you see that ive seen it in other plants but none more so than the old blueberry it was genetic and not like a deficiency or anything and u see it too in the crosses alot too anyway aye man its looking good whos the blueberry twist from?

@conor c hey bud, that's from advanced female seeds, to date they're the best blueberry terps I've grown since the original Dp blueberry.

I also got 2 packs of that coastal blueberry I was on about, from what I'm reading it's highly rated for bb terps.
(Strawberry hill seeds)

I didn't use great lakes mate, I wasn't keen enough to pay the $30 postage.

So, i got in touch with the chap directly and made arrangements, that worked out around a fiver postage.

I can't remember if I mentioned I'd ordered another pk of blueberry twist last week, I could probably get them later in the year but I wasn't taking the chance.

Are you familiar with these guys?
The same bbt is £103 versus £32 from gorilla seeds.
