The UK Growers Thread!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, it's only a temporary measure for me I was more curious how it was dealt with long term, I'll be putting those plants into autopot modules next week ±

I used this previously to get by then plugged them all into the pump and manifold.

@Conor good idea mate that'll let it empty.

A bend lets you reach left/right around the plants without too much hassle the biggest problem for me is trying to reach holding weight, my lower back/hip is in bad shape.
Good stuff bud if it works that's what matters bud

It's still early days but janis and ace kush are getting down to flowering.

how do you guys feed the plants at the back without spilling nutrient onto the leaves of plants.

I use a 600ml syringe to feed it's good but sometimes drips nutrient onto the leaves, I didn't think about this earlier but could those blemishes on the plant above be caused by drips of nutrient not getting wiped off?
I'd buy a pressure pump with an extended hose on it to get to the back .... I like the two plants to one pot that's a good tactic for variety in the grow

morning everone, just wondered what the word on organic nutients was, ive got biobizz, but wanted to know what other products were worth trying.
both for autos and photos. thanx

Biobizz is a solid bet to be honest. I use plant magic which is essentially the same thing (derived from sugar beet).

British organics bio looks interesting. Pricy and need a few bottles but I’m intrigued as one has carbon loaded into its feed.

Not many more bottles than biobizz full range tbh.

I only use a root stim, calmag (soft water) grow/bloom and a silicon to keep the pH around 6.2

Molasses are pretty much the source of carbon used in most organics bottles it's at about 24% carbon alone so do they add more in the one your talking about? Aye some weather the day for sure bud

Is there any peat mixed in I know some Coco mixes add a bit in could be heavily compressed bits of that maybe ?
I don't think so, I am using Canna coco professional plus and I think it's just straight up coco with nothing mixed in. It's all I will ever use but I have noticed the quality hasn't been as good lately. Here's a bit of info on it https://www.canna-uk.com/canna-coco-professional-plus

Yeah shouldn't have stones in it lol i prefer dirt myself so much easier don't get me wrong if I was going hydro coco is the way I'd go as it produces the best quality bud after soil grown imo

Yeah lol I might do a soil grow soon because I'm getting fed up of watering until run off everyday in coco lol it takes me about 2 or 3 hours everyday watering by hand in coco and with soil I will only have to water once every 3 days. The only reason I use coco is because the plants grow a lot faster compared to soil. I feel like I wouldn't get the growth I am looking for in soil. Coco is pretty much impossible to overwater as well so I guess that's another benefit to growing in coco, your plants will never be overwatered :bigjoint:

I plan on flipping this girl to 12/12 in the next week or two. It's one of my Cookies Fish scale phenotypes. She's 6 weeks old today. I upped the feed on her today from 1.0 EC to 1.1 EC because she is looking like she's about to give me a deficiency any time soon. She don't look the best at the minute but she will when I get her under my Lumatek Zeus pro LED light. I have been hand feeding her daily since day 1. I call this phenotype "The Bush" :bigjoint:bongsmilie:eyesmoke::mrgreen::weed:

It's cheap to rig up an auto feeder set up, I used a pump manifold, 5mm tubing and some X pieces in a jam it worked great.

The lighter colored plants at the right were grown with that set up.
I'm kinda over complicating things at the minute to be honest lol. I've got a medusa run off system, drain to waste, with the brains and the pump and everything. You can connect up to 48 plants on the same system so you don't have to worry about run off at all with the system I'm using. But I can't fit it in my 4x4 tent at the minute because I've got a humidifier taking up space and the run off system won't fit in there while I'm using the humidifer because there just isn't enough space for the run off system and the humidifier in the tent at the same time. I need to keep the humidity around 60% at the minute and because I'm using a HPS bulb it eats up a lot of the humidity compared to a LED light so I've got to keep my humidifier running in the tent so the plants don't suffer. I've got an irrigation system too but without the run off system setup and running I don't feel comfortable running the irrigation system just in case it dumps a whole load of water onto the plants because I've only got my plants sitting in saucers and if the res dumped out 100 liters into the saucers I would be fucked lol so I've gotta keep hand feeding them for at least the next week or two until I get everything sorted. I need to get some more 13mm tubing so I can setup up my run off system and irrigation system as well. I've got some hydro rings and stuff so I look forward to setting everything up soon. Btw your plants look like they are doing really well. They look very healthy and green. You need to teach me your ways

Ah wasn’t aware of that. Nah seems a little less just threw me off when it said carbon in the ingredients.

They do have an organic triacontanol product tho which looks interesting.
