been looking at them cool tubes but not convinced yet? you got any experience with the tubes or the hood type?

tubes are great for saving space i run both tubes and hoods, very litle in te way of diffrence in amount of heat moved, imo hood make a better footprint.

so didnt really effect temps much? i thought that was the idea of them... What about the buds? still get what you would under a bare bulb?

close enough yer. Temps are ok i was just thinking maybe they would make things even easier. Guy at the shop said they tend to collect dust on the glass which effects the light output put dont know how much truth is in that... I didnt see any for sale so prob trying to put me off! Will prob just carry on as i am...

yer they are on an 8 8 untill finish now. Temps are fine bro its not an issue i was just thinking for future and getting the plants closer. What iv heard and read tho its not worth the bother if temps are ok

I have my ducts sucking fresh air from the windon with the lights run in at nit. Only gets a bit hot in July August time but no majorly hot.
 
I bought a new fan today from the shop, got home, had to wire the new fan so was taking a plug from an old fan i thought was broke and noticed why it wasnt working! One of the copper ends was just slightly lose. Tightened that fucker up and it was back online. Im made up its a great fan! Got a refund on the one i bought and sat on another broke one going back through the post! Fans coming out my arse haha

i would if i could but this particular set up it just isnt possible. Its a ground floor and lots of passers by at the only available window. Fuck that. Its close enough to benefit from the breeze tho haha

Lol was in the same boat when I had a ground floor flat. It's a cunt. Can't leave ur windows open when u go out incase u get robbed lol. Sweat ur balls of in the summer

Yes mate the one i bought and the one i fixed! The one im running now has way to much power for the small set up its on i cant turn it up past the second speed or the plants will take off. Its fine just on the second setting but i wont be keeping it long on this small set up its a bit of a waste. Il find it a bigger home it can stretch its legs a bit haha

Sweet. Never had one with a power setting on it b4. Must be a new thing. There good fan man. Last forever
