The Trump* Curse

It might be a curse, but with the proposed bailout, Trump is now both Impeached, and a Socialist. :D
Trump is not a socialist. Fascists also treat the economy as a tool of government, so I understand why this might cause confusion.

Thank goodness we have a fantastic leader like Trump to lead us.. If we had Obama at least 6k people would be dead now. A lot like when the Obama Flu came around and he did nothing for 6 months except let people die.
LOL

Really? bbbbut Obama? Three years on and your kind still are butt hurt over a successful recovery from a Republican caused recession that was adroitly managed by a Democrat.

I can understand why you'd fall back on the bbut Obama trope. Trumps chaotic and sycophant administration has bungled this crisis at every possible point.

It was more about his color than being a democrat.

Trump supporters have no clue what fascism is. They barely know what socialism is, either, but they know how to use socialism in a chant, so I went with it.
I know. You are right about how people are ignorant regarding the differences between socialism, fascism and communism. The thing is, lumping what Trump is doing with socialism only plays into the hands of people who oppose social progress.

I just wish that people who do know the difference start calling what Trump is doing for what it is -- fascism. His blockheads supported Trump when he claimed the rights of a king and the Republican Senate agreed. We aren't going to make headway with them but maybe a few people who don't understand what's going on will begin to get it.

I respect your opinion here, and I do agree that Trump, being a fascist, shouldn't be labeled as a socialist for the sole purpose of trying to dumb down the information for the ignorant and indoctrinated.

True. I'd counter that those people are tools of others. The people who used Obama's color as a rallying cry against him, IMO, didn't care about his color, only that they didn't get to call the shots during the recovery. Today, we can see how they act during a crisis.

I treat Trump "socialism" as a joke on the Trumpers, who are so aroused by the term. Trump is a fascist, but they engage in economic vandalism like communists. Fascism isn't really an economic ideology, but one of racism and bigotry under a strong man leader, it's ethno nationalism.

Many Americans are gonna be on the government dole this spring and summer, technically...

Not saying what others should do but I think there is never a bad time to correct ignorance, don't you agree?

Do you really think most folks think trump is a socialist? Surely there must be room for humor in this extremely ironic situation of republican socialist policies? This is unusual to say the least and not just a little bit contradictory on their part, I've made about all the jokes I can about it, the situation is obvious and absurd. Expect to hear it from the late night comedians when they start again though, it's too precious to pass up.

It's a good bit of ironic humor to call him socialist. I guess I'm being a wet blanket by being so pedantic. It doesn't matter much, I suppose.

carry on.

We could make a whole thread of ideas.

I'm guessing somebody driving a forklift did that as a joke on one of his co-workers.
I had to replace the u joints in my truck so I brought all my tools to work and after we were done I booked my truck up

made a 2-3 hour repair fly by in 35 minutes

so you're saying that Bernie still has a chance? He was pretty close in Florida. I'm pretty sure he's gearing up to stick the landing and take the nomination away from Biden.

Everyone from all sides of the isle is well aware how much the American Left adored Mussolini.

oooh, so bitter. Some might even say schu is feeling the burn. a large majority of Democrats don't want Sanders and his Cult can't handle it.

For good reasons, he lost.

this is usually the point in trumps career that he declares bankruptcy and walks away claiming no responsibility. Saving America now will require a lot of real work. I wouldn't be surprised if trump resigns just because it's too much work. And Pence will pardon him.....
