Ok .... previous vipar guy here.
1. Put both ... veg AND bloom switches on.
2. Individual COLOR channels are ridiculously weak.
3. Seedlings will stretch around 30” so lower panel to say 24” .
If seedlings do get stretchy , no worries... you can bury the stem .
I actually like the damn thing once I dialed it in ..
. For a couple of plants ( 3 gallons ) it performs well... I moved on to COBS and QB but actually still
Own the 600 . Even tho pull was about 278 pretty well.
Use this chart and just grow your plants.
I know this panel like a Thai hooker .... played with it , fucked with it , and it gave me the goods.
ALWAYS put both channels on .... always. I ran it perpetually for my autos ... 18/6 or 20/4.
It vegs pretty damn well with both channels on ... flowering is subjective, but got some dank.
The pic below shows WITH SUPPLEMENTAL RED ONLY ( 630nm to 660nm ) that is
NOT a hot spot .... the red panels were only to cover FRINGE corner areas. The vipar grew them out as shown.
You can see plants liked this thing and prayed away. Lol.
I
STILL HAVE IT and may find a corner or throw up a 2x4 tent or so and get her back into action.
It’s like your first car and you get sentimental! ..... lol
