The struggle is real !!.. Help !!

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and just started a test run .
I've been doing ok , been reading and watching tons of videos .
I decided to try one plant from seed (bag seed ) in this test and tune run .
I started the seedling in a cup of cheap seedling starter .... Then transplanted into 1gal of "roots organics " ...... I am going with CFL for this run but was going to do led for flower . I'm using General organics nutes that I started 2 weeks after transplant .... The plant is now about 5 weeks old ... Just transplanted into 5 gal 2 days ago .... The plant is showing signs of stress or deficiencies....... I would greatly appreciate if someone can let me know what's going on and how to fix the issues . Thanks

If you can take a photo and post it, that'll help determine what's going on and get you the best advice.

Kind of confused on this one...CFL lighting temps seem fine and what appears very much to be heat stress

I see your temp meter but that is at the bottom of the tent. In the past I have had plants stress from heat when my Temps steady read 78. How far are your cfls from the plant. Hold your hand between the top and your light and see how hot it is. It was because of no airflow along the top of the plant with the cfl close that I experienced this problem

I do have one fan , it's 12in works pretty good but I'm waiting for exhaust/ intake fans to arrive ... Btw this is a grow in a small 3ft-2ft-51/2 ft tent

You have no exhaust and that is a problem. Your plant is not getting any fresh air and I can almost guarantee that's your problem if you keep the tenT closed for periods of time

I do have the lights at about 4in away from plant , but it's only 3 40w bulbs 6500

Ok that's what I thought too ... I have 2 fans for intake/exhaust on the way .....I keep the tent open while the light are on but close right before the lights go off ..... So is the spots and burns are also the same issue ? ... Btw thanks for your help .

I use two or three small fans in a tent like that, plus a 4" carbon filter/fan to exhaust. But that is not a lot of wattage. Maybe too little, even.

No idea on the spotting

Yeah the heat issue seemed obvious.... Just wanted to make sure , but the spots is what I can figure out ... Maybe poor genetics .. Or I was thinking PH ... I keep my feedings at 5.6-5.8 and ppm no more than about 760

Your pH is too low for soil. Look closer to 6.5-7.0.
Those two things should straighten you out.
You are running hydro pH numbers there.

Put fan on top of tent sucking out the air through a carbon filter.. Place filter intent so it'll be filter ducting out the top to your inline fan sucking air out usually inside the tent they have straps to tie around your filter that's coming in from top of tent
