The stretch is real

Day 7 flower, is this the normal stretch? I cut the nitrogen off from the feed for 2 weeks, and kept the light as close as possible to prevent the stretch, but unfortunately they just want to take off like a bat out of hell.

I'm familiar with the foot long stretching period, but it almost seems like I need to put up another scrog net because the first on got buried 2 weeks ago, I could stake them up but I don't want to deal with that. I will give them nitrogen when on the next feed, but I cut it out for 2 weeks to eliminate some stretch.

cCutting out N isn't gonna eliminate stretch, it's gonna give the plants deficiencies. I continue to feed my flowering plants veg nutes for the first couple weeks of flower, and sometimes they even ask for more.

Still no deficiencies, they are getting everything they need, trace elements to early bloom nutes. My ladies are healthy and hearty.

I still think its normal.

When's the last time you changed your bulbs?
It's a brand new bulb, 1000w hps. But I'm going to try something new at 2 weeks before harvest, I bought a 10k bulb for a bloom finisher, to see if it does anything good for the girls, I guess it gives off more uv at that kelvin level.

I've been wondering about those finishing bulbs, be neat to see how it works out and get an opinion from an actual grower.
