I would love to use some bigger lights. The issue at hand at the moment is exhaust !! I am currently just venting into the attic and it is already melting the snow on my roof. Too much of a "heat Score" if i were to exhaust any more heat than i already am. In the summer when i can renovate, i was thinking of exhausting into the plumbing stack and this will solve the melting roof issue in winter months THEN i couls upgrade to HPS !! Venting into the stack will also solve any smell issues as it is about 5 feet above the roofline of my house. Don't think anyone will smell anything that high up.

Careful ending your exhaust in the attic, your exhausting moisture and you could develop mold.. Do you have roof vents that go out to the open air? If you do run additional ducting to those roof vents and exhaust into the outside air..

I have 4 "whirley birds" on the roof to exhaust the air, just the climate i live in that is the issue. Not worried abour moisture or mold but thanks for the concern Mercury.

cant you run splitters and ducting to one of them whirlybird things on the roof. if you concentrate the exhaust to one spot you can stick a couple 400/600w lights in that space and pull massive yeilds. then you wont have to worry about snow melting. or run the ducting into the gas exhaust so it doesnt look odd with steam rising from one of your whirlybirds

Going to transplant tomorrow into larger pots and see where that gets me. Good root structure and perhaps the roots are getting too much light in clear cups ??

UPDATE. Transplanted today and built the second "Ocotpus" light. One these get a little bigger, the one light will not be enough. Will need more space when i go to 2 gallon pots. Should have taken photo's of the root stucture while transplanting but forgot. Roots good and white and LOTS !! Still a little curling of the leaves but i think they are straightening out since i have cooled it with the watering. Temps are great sitting around 75 - 78 degrees.420 001 (5).jpg420 002 (5).jpg420 003 (3).jpg420 004 (3).jpg420 005 (3).jpg420 006 (4).jpg

Thanks for the input. No light to the roots now so we will see how it goes over the next couple of days. Last grow (first) planted straight into dark pots and never experienced this so i am hoping that was the issue. Undoubtedly over watered also, i know it.

I love ur space. Brettsog said it right optomize that very nice space.
Thanks Jimi. I am since i started this little project, it has been a work in progress. I just wanted to get shit started so i will optimize the space and i go and any suggestions are more than welcome.

I think you should intake from either outside or from in the house and exhaust into the house, you would use a carbon filter so it would not smell. it would also heat your house!
