THE SMELL WHEN GROWING WEED!

Hi growers,

I have a discreet grow currently in flower and the mrs is paranoid about the smell but I keep telling her that we have a carbon filter which scrubs the air so there is virtually no smell so could you growers help me out in putting her mind at rest about the smell situation.

I just had 4 Gh#4 in a 1200x1200 tent and got a freebie rhino 4 inch hobby filter zero smell they do work.. it's seems Abit snake oily bit they just do work.

Not all plants are as strong smelling. Two grows ago i had my 4x12" carbon filter overwhelmed by a stinky runt. Didnt even yield 2 oz but it was eyewateringly smelly. Started venting outdoors after that.
If venting outdoors isnt an option, look into picking up a second filter and double scrubbing before it is recycled into the house

If you look around there are low smelling strains, that should put her mind at ease, as well as the carbon scrubber.

They work well but arent magic. There will be a little smell escaping during flower. There may be a month or 6 weeks where it overwhelms the filter(s). But in general they do a great job.

Yeah it's hard to believe they work as well as they do I live in a residential setting neighbours are close I am finally installing filters never used them before as I have a grow lic but still going to install them just for the nighbours ....with an 8inch exhaust pointing at there house approx 10 ft away feel it's a respectable thing to do .

Heres some.tips that may help

If your using vented hoods make sure your glass if any is also taped or sealed up tight around the edges...foil tape all duct connections even a slight leak around the ducting or hoods will cause smell to escape but Tom's and tons and tons of people grow legally and illegally right next to neighbours so they def work and you can be 100% successful in removing all unwanted odors from your exhaust air !

I have several strains going but sideral by ripper seeds is so smelly in veg its unreal never dealt with any other strain as smelly as this .....not yet anyway only a few years into this new hobby .
