I am running a 1000watt HPS light, plants are clones of a sweet White Widow. Vegging for 3 weeks now, under 18 hours of light, 6 hours of dark. Watch my progress, more photos to come....Week to week....
I cannot stress how easy this is to do...After your initial set up, sit back and watch the buds grow in...
HERE IS MY SYSTEM INFORMATION:-
My system is a two part system, I've always used a lot of air both in the reservoir and underneath each pot, as each pot sustains a certain water level depending on how much I chocka block my reservior....So its kind of aeroponics and a flood and drain system... The roots I find tend to love air when in water so this really helps stop the overwatering problem. I also drip feed from the top for 15 minutes every hour while the lights are on ..Bearing in mind its really hot where I live...
To help control the heat from the 1000watt light I have a 200mm exhaust fan, that moves so much air, it sucks the tents sides in...lol.
I have a large carbon filter called an OdorSok attached to the fan in order to clean the air I am expelling. I also have a large pedestal fan inside to keep the air moving around the leaves... Super important... I also keep a humidifyer in there on those cold nights. We have extremes in weather here...
I have a portable air conditioner inside the tent as I am growing in a bloody warm climate. This does three jobs, it provides me with fresh air from the outside when I wish to use the fan for that all important CO2, and cooling for when the temp is still 31 degrees celcius outside and its dark...It also removes excess humidity...
My grow medium of choice is clayballs as I find I can control what my plants receive much more accurately this way. I have a great natural ph water supply so that makes things easy...
Now,, nutrient...I choose to use Canna Nutrients for everything... I use Canna Classic, Vega A and B, Flores A and B, Rhizotonic, Cannazyme, PK 13-14, and CannaBoost... I have found these to be the best on the market.. Used properly they can give you kick arse results...Just follow the grow guide on their website... Too easy...
The temp in my room is never above 30 degrees celcius.. Feel free to ask questions....
