The search for Chernobyl.

Did you get you seeds in the end?

I'm growing an original Subcool Chernobyl right now (search for it in the Grow Journal forum for pics) and was just about to buy some of those Badger seeds...but it'd be good to know how they're growing, and how they compare to the original..
 
I'm a bit gutted, but seems that I can't buy seeds from geneticsupply as they don't seem to ship outside the US. :wall:
What's up with that!?

I've searched online and ruled out a plenty of un-reputable suppliers who will probably just shove any old seeds into a bag and sell em....but none of the good seed banks have them.

That sucks about genetic supply because they're legit as fuck. I scooped the 50 pk of chernobyl a few months ago. I'm expecting to find a great pheno in that pack. Badger is legit, has some really cool crosses he crossing up with subs work. Surprised more people aren't all over genetic supply, their prices are the best out there, they also carry csi, norstar, and gooey. They have an overstock sec. where you can buy in bulk. I like some of the crosses badger does himself I snagged up the vintage vinot- its (dvg)brandywine x (bodhi) goji og. They kicked me a free 50pk of cuvee as a freebie because I did a hefty order, that's insane- cuvee is in a ton of hype breeders strains. Honestly I could see a resurgence of subs gear in upcoming years, people will get nostalgic for those very tasty and stanky terps. Look at badgerbatch on instagram, his strains can hold up with the hype strains out there.

So dude check out midweek song think there a British or Dutch bank so they do order outside of the states. Also attitude still has some sub gear under subs "The Dank" flag. Honestly I'm not popping my sub gear at the moment or near future but I can't wait for when I do! Rip Sub, I grow your strains to the best of my abilities for ya!

They'll definitely compare to the originals, pretty sure badger had some original males and female plants of subs. I'm not 100% sure on this part but I thing he even helped sub out after the fire to build back up his(subs) genetic library after sub lost all his shit in the fire. The vibe I got from what little I know about sub is that badger was someone sub respected and trusted. I know subs stuff is considered early to mid 2000s type gear but his strains can easily hold up in today's market. Think a decent amount of people would actually go with sub flower over some of the hype stuff. My boy still talks about chernobyl to this day and he ran that shit almost 10 years ago. For polys you couldn't go wrong with his gear, pop a pack and easily find a tasty keeper you could keep for years.
 
Yeah. I bought some Dairy Queen seeds from attitude not too long ago that're in the fridge right now...I realised original sub cool stuff was running out and wanted to make sure I got hold of some of what little was left. Might do some more shopping soon...
 
You might want to check out dragonflamegenetics he did some breeding with a slymer pheno to bulk it up.actualky I think he might have used it in a couple of his offerings...but meh If you have the original stock you can do that yourself
 
Second Generation has Limonene Queen (chernobyl (golden ticket) x Blueberry f4). Might be worth a shot for you to come up with some magic. JD has solid genetics to work with.

Also I got pretty lucky and one of this is a triploid and every node has 3 outputs rather than 2. I top a spot it splits in 3 not 2. Crazy
