Thanks for all your comments guys. I got the netting at deboisag.com, it was from france, and it was expensive. But it was the only thing I could find that was designed to cover plants for the purpose of protecting against insects while letting about 96% light through. In a hot area like mine I think you could do the same thing with shade material and your plants would be just fine if not benefit a little. With the shipping(bulk item) and all it came to about $500 but I have enough left over to build two more greenhouses so I figure i'll use it in the future. I still want to put polycarbonate clear roof panels on top as a permanent roof. Last year it was an absolute nightmare trying to keep a 24x24 white tarp suspended for the rain. With the panels the rain would just run right off and I wouldnt have to be outside at 5am with all sorts of ropes and ladders getting completely drenched in cold rain lol
