Special forces including Kurds commandos raided an ISIS compound and freed 73 hostages set to be executed the following morning. The fine U.S. soldier that was killed had 4 purple hearts and left behind 4 kids and a wife.

I was alluding to us fighting people we've trained and armed, not the hostage rescue.

The hostage rescue was bad ass. I should definitely mention that.
 
I know, and I edited my post questioning the source. Re-read the first part about their Mission Statements.

If someone says it on the internet and someone repeats it, then by golly, it must be true.
