The Room: Filters and fans

So I have my lighting all worked out see:

Now on to the room design.
I have pretty much set my heart on an aeroflo36.
Suggestions for Carbon filters and fans?
I have attic access in my room so ideally I would like to have my fan up in the attic to reduce noise.
I was going to pull the trigger on a Phresh filter but now I'm reading mixed reviews.
Any suggestions for an old timer who hasn't done this in about 15 years?

I use all can filters and I've been using the htg Orange inline fans with no complaints so far ... Also nice avatar I have the portrait on my arm sorry for the shitty image

I also have the HTG orange 6" inline, I run it at 50%. I think it's quiet, even at 100%. I don't think you'd ever hear it if it was in you're attic.

Ya I have the 8" 6" and a 4" all in one room and the only one I can even hear is the 4" because it's mounted sideways to suck air from a hole I cut in the floor out of the basement below my apartment
