The Results are in

Here's a bud shot of my first completed grow in coco. My buds are as big or bigger than what I did in hydro. Looks to be about 2.5 lbs from 4 plants. I'm a happy camper. The bud on the left is as big as a coffee can. It should dry to about 2 oz.

I grew these in 10 gallon pots. I have a perpetual flowering setup where I have two flowering rooms and one vegging room with T5s. Every two weeks, I harvest half a room (4 plants). I watered them once a day with about a 10% - 15% runoff.

This is my own strain called Terminal Head Candy or T.H.C. 22% THC and 10% THCA.

I grew out of coco for a couple years & never got 2.5lbs out if 4 plants... they must be huge plants? how long do you veg? what nutes? I grew out of 5 gollon smart pot. plants got to about 4-5 foot when finished. i averaged about 3.5-4 ounces per plant & ur getting 8-10 oz. per plant. Im not bashing ur parade but i have only seen those numbers in hydro. If what ur claiming is true then kudos my friend, i'm definitely impressed. So whats ur secret?

They vegged for about a month. I watered once per day with a good runoff. I used a modified version of the GH Lucas Formula where I used only half as much bloom. 1 micro to 1 bloom @ 900-1000 ppm. The next day I would top off my reservoir with water only, bringing the PPM down to 500 - 600 and water them with that. Back and forth, higher PPM, lower PPM. The PH was kept at 5.8 - 6.0. I also added calmag at about 30 - 50 ppm once per day.

I flowered them in 10 gallon pots. I also used beneficial bacteria and no hydrogen peroxide. I have 4000w of sodium in that room - brand new Sylvania eye bulbs.

Essentially I treated them as if they were hydroponic drain to waste.

I did not use any perlite or additives to the coco. Just strait coco bought in brick form. All the watering in that room is done by hand.

In my other room I have them in 7 gallon pots and they are about 1/3 smaller. I am also drip watering them in my other room. I notice that bud formation isn't as intense with drip stakes watering as it is with hand watering.

I grow trees. It's what I do. Big vegged plants. Big root space. Few as possible plants per light. And good genetics helps a lot.
