the "rep"

Hey riu, its nice to be back. i never really noticed before, but since i've been back i have noticed people saying "rep+" or "will rep"

I also noticed i have one rep bar, as you can see. I dont really understand this, i used to be a very active member on this site back when i was able to grow (and i finally can again ) and if you read my posts i am pretty sure i am helpfull, especially for new growers, because i know the frustration that comes with first grows.

so my question is, is rep new? i have not been on the site in at least a year, since i was placed on probation, or is it that new members cant give rep (i have heard this on a few posts i have read).

its been here as long as i have. dunno about the time b4 then. its a way to add to someones rank in the system rollitup uses, or decrease it if you pay for elite. usually given to someone for helping someone(*hint*hint*) or if you really piss someone off and they paid for elite.......

new people cant give rep right away, at least not rep that add to the score, until theyve gotten to a certain number of posts. a +rep from a newer account will start blue and not add points, when they cross the threshhold they turn green and the points are added. how much your +rep gives pointwise depends on the number of posts you have. how many points did my +reps add pointwise?

If brains were dynamite, you could blow the dust from your ears......NO rep is OLD and as far back as 2006...... i believe in 2008 they had a skin which could not offer this feature, they promptly switch it back, or gave option on which "skin "t to use..
I have used the 2007 skin for years. and dont even know what 09 / 10 looks like

I see, i became a member jan 2008, so maybe that is why, or maybe its just because I never really rep+ other members. either way i get it now.

and i have 44 rep points now, i never looked at what it was before you gave me rep, so im not sure. but thanks to everyone who gave a reply, and especially to everyone who gave rep. I'll return the favor.

And add me if your interested in AF strains, im going to be doing a grow journal with 15 AF's and and unknown number of others. should be up within the month.

thanks for the +rep whoever it was. lol, i forgot to say that you should sign(just put -yourusername at the end of the rep comments) all the reps you give out too, my bad. lol
