Hello everyone, here's a thread for The Real Seed Company (RSC) - www.therealseedcompany.com

I bought a few packs of their gear off seedsman a couple months back (Sinai, Nanda Devi, and Parvati). Started the Sinai pack before Thanksgiving in a tent under LED 18/6. A few started autoflowering and I moved them to a tent in the garage under LED 13/11. I let them know via IG and they responded quickly letting me know that they do have that trait. It wasn't listed on seedsman or their website at the time. They said they would update it and they did quickly thereafter.

They also mentioned that the Nanda Devi strain (they did not update this on their site) also has some auto traits and that the Parvati "shouldn't show" any auto traits.

I'm a little put off that this wasn't disclosed to begin with and certainly would not have grown them out knowing they auto. I'm trying to make some lemonade from this and will make some auto beans to give out to people.

All 8 (from 10 seeds) that popped have auto-ed. 3 females/5males. *(note, the 2 plants in the bottom right are Petrolia Headstash males that have auto-ed)

Did you say that the male Petrolia Headstash autoed as well? If so, it could be your growing conditions too. How long are your light cycles? I've had Affie dominant strains like Huckleberry Kush, as well as other strains start to flower on 18/6. In fact, I have a White Cherry Truffle F2 that is flowering hard under 18/6. Those look like small pots too. Sometimes, plants will start to flower when they get rootbound in small pots.

As to the RSC gear, I can't speak to that. I'm just throwing this out there, but maybe landrace gear is more prone to hermie, because that trait hasn't been selected against in the gene pool? I'm just speculating here.

Hey @Ohwolfie - yes, they were all under 18/6. I've heard about landrace stuff acting weird in tents and under artificial lights. It's my first time with led too so a little new for me.

I moved the Petrolia Headstash plants under another light/tent with 13/11. Both are continuing to flower I believe.

All the other strains are not having auto issues. Only these two so I'm guessing it's genetics more than anything.

I grow under LED lights as well. What kind of led is that? And yeah, I could see how landrace strains would be acting weird under artificial lighting.

Lucky man to have some Petrolia Headstash plants. What F gen are they? I know of a guy in Europe who has an F2 cutting that is really nice.

I'm using a 1500w cob led off amazon. It's not a bad alternative to cfl for indoor veg/mom rooms. We're going to get some mh pretty soon to get veg going a little quicker.

One looks really cool so far, but the auto has me a little worried to chuck any pollen with it. Not sure what f gen they are. I got them from Bodhi/Nierika and have had trouble finding any info on where he sourced it.

Giving RSC another try here with some Parvati. Soaked them two nights ago and a couple are starting to break ground already. This looks like a fun strain to play with. They should hold up pretty well outside here in OK. Going to f2 these to get more to look at.
