House Bill 1983 the States Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act is currently in committee in our House of Representatives. House bill 1983 will do two things, first it will change marijuana from a schedule 1 drug to a schedule 3 drug. It will also give the states the right to decide if they're going to allow medical marijuana or not. It is currently being discussed in the 53 member House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
If your congress person sits on the committee(The 53 members of the committee.), please take 15 minutes out of your day and write them a letter. There are over 1.5million medical marijuana users in this country, it's time we are heard. We're a pretty decent size chunk of voters.
