Ok so treeth I know you will be watching this you led phenatic.
Treeth started the challenge. with the near impossible goal of getting 1 gram per watt with leds.
I don't see it happening.
But you never know so i have acceptd.

I am what you would call a semi noob.
I only have 3 harvests under my belt.
And never a big problem.(Thanks RIU)

I will be using three 15 watt led bulbs.
Supplied by senled from ebay.

So far the veg has been going good. Started under a 10 watt blue led panel and was moved roughly a week and a half ago.
I just started with B.C. supernatural veg nutes.

I will be vegging until i get my new cab built hoping two weeks.

Or i can risk the light leaks.I want to veg no longer than three more weeks.

Pictures will be on there way..
NOw where is that damn chord.

So let me get this right, one gram per watt. You will be or are running 45 watts. So your looking for 45 gram yield?

Sounds like it.

Subscribed. I'm very curious about the results, even if you fall short. :-D

well the i am running 45 watts i highly doubt i will get 45 grams especially comsidering i am only running one plant for this run.but i will be cloning this plant granted it is a female.
it has beautiful genetics.I had bred this strain though it doesnt have a name.
the parents are juicy fruit and somen bag seed.the juicy fruit hermied due to a light leak i hadnt located.until it was to late.

so if everyone will help me come up with a name.

pics 1 and 2 were taken today.
pics 3 and 4 were taken when i started this thread.
enjoy.

Very interesting! I have wanted to see LED's in action for a while now. Definately some of the more promising technology to come out in the past decade or so, just hope it doesn't take another decade to become feasible. Subscribed.

Do you have a her transplanted to a bigger pot yet? Root matter and plant matter are proportional so you want to get a bigger pot if you haven't already. Good luck.
I like LEDs I haven't added any to my setup yet, but maybe in a couple years I will. The technology is coming along nicely.

well i already know that leds are truly feasable for vegatative growth.
from what i have seen from other grows thats they lose their effectivness when flowering,,
but i am really worried. normaly i use thee bulbs for supplumental and side lighting.but then i decided to go for a full grow with them as a test.

well i havent actually transplanteted yet i will soon though..
also beforw i throw her into flower i will be topping her another time and i will give her 3-4 days to recover.
like you were saying the size of the root ball is directly related to plant size.
So in thoery if you reduce the plant size while leaving the roots the yields should be higher.

I will post pics in an hour or so.

war without tears!

Good luck nursing that plant back to health. but i think, personally, that after too much stress, it's not even worth it to flower the poor girl.

take cuttings, get some strong ones, let em root and then start flowering those immediately. do like a three or four cola sog op in tight under that light.

thats my recommendation at least, from my postition currently...
