anti social. sorry its hard to be a loner. but almost even harder to deal with people.for long periods of time. still rowlman what state is it you love so much
Sociability is a learned thing. If you are "anti-social" take a look back at your child hood and see if you were social back then. If you were, then something along the way has fucked you up somehow. It could be even being shot down by a girl you liked a lot. A round of anti-depressants, and a good job dealing with people is the solution. Security is great because you have to get personal on people and demand them to do things.

to get ride of gangs in small towns youd have to find people with the same ideals as yours and take of house by house and move the gangs out yourself. hint just wait for some shit to go down and have the whole hood out number them in guns and vests and tell them they have to leave. if you have a hood thats your before they move in it shouldnt be that hard. i understand not wanting to get shot. but theres all sorts of treats in the anarchist cook book. maybe a gas grenade recipe. go bat man and hand cuff them with a sign that says for the commissioner you'll be fine .

im stuck ina concrete jungle for now...but ill tell you what i miss

lakes , lack of people , abundance of animals, clean water , turtles cruisin around by the 100s in creeks, cheap beer, daily gunshots during deer season, fish you can eat when you catch em.

You just described the backyard.
He came pretty close to describing my backyard too. If he would have added a long outdoor growing season, HIGH HEAT in the summer and loads-o-snakes he would have been spot on for my place.

I live so far out in the weeds that the possums deliver the mail.

I'm not one to tell anyone what to do, but it sounds like you should get some anti-depressants and give it a try for about 6 months. You might need other drugs too, but in the very least I suggest you check into anti-depressants, I really believe they would help you. Sertraline is what I think you should ask about specifically

It stacks up, and it takes a long time to work. But after about 8 months you'll notice a significant difference

I don't have mail delivery to my house. My mailbox is a little under a half mile away, on the nearest paved road.

You can purchase a nice home, on a lake, in Michigan (at least in the U.P.) right now for a fresh bag or pretzels and a Coke. House values, as in dollar amounts, took the biggest beating in Michigan, and the U.P. seems to have taken the worst of it.

There are a million deals to be had right now in Michigan. Someone just has to find the one that is best for them. Well, that and bring a job with them when they move because they won't have much luck finding one up there. But you can find some real steals in the housing market.

We have 52 lakes in a 20 minute radius...small ones, but you get the idea.
I have my own 5 acre lake way out back...you have to water-ski in circles, but it's private.

You have paved roads!...sounds luxurious.

When I moved here in 1987 the nearest 'paved road,' and most other Country roads like it were the tar and gravel type that had to be resurfaced every few years, but about 5 or 6 years ago the County did finally spring for actual blacktop. It was a big difference for sure. I'm still on gravel, but I'm not far from a real road now.

But that is also part of why I want to move to a more wilderness-like area. Civilization is beginning to encroach on me, and I do not much care for it.
