I haven't used Advanced, but my buddy just grew some of my pk clones in soil with AN and they looked pretty good. He didn't use the whole line tho. I have only heard GREAT things about AN, especially outdoor. Another friend got 4 lbs a pnd with AN and he only got 2 last year with organics. It is more expensive than Canna and H&G if you get the whole line tho.
 
I have been using H&G for about 2 or 3 years

I have used it with and without RO water and had pretty good results
I don't use their kelp product and just started using their Foliar spray

One of my friends swears by AN I have seen the results and they are pretty impressing but truthfully i dunno if AN is worth the extra $
I have seen some really good stuff come from cana coco but i have never seen a straight water culture type grow with canna.

I have always had pretty damn good results except for recently i switched over to a ebb and grow system and had a bit of problems but i think it is under control now.
 
i think it was around 9 weeks.. it was really hard to judge by the trick, due to the fact that the the bud was so purple the trichs looked like amber soon as they poped up.. it could off been flushed better, it didn't burn great but was the bomb none the less... and i vaped.. i had folks beg me to sell them some and i was charging 150 a quat.

that was my first grow.. under 800w hps/mh got as tall cones and vegged for 28 day more so they could fill out a little, used fox farm ocean forest and mollases. Plants were mostly short. wish i had some seeds so i can give it another go, i no now i could have done better. Im going aero next time using the Aqua Flakes. Watering 30 plants was a bitch.

Never thought of that with the trichs... I got three rooted cuttings i put two in dirt and one in a ebb and flow vegging system. As soon as they get bigger ima clone them and toss them in my areoflo and see what happens. Maybe i should do a grow journal with that. Did you notice that they could take a heavy feeding schedule or not?
 
Have any of you seen signs of phos deficiency while using H&G's line? If so, how did you correct it?
 
howdy people just wondering when starting the shooting powder do u still run a&b nutes and budXL with it? and when using budXL with a&b nutes is it better to have more budXL then the a&b nutes in the nutrient mix or 50/50??

Thanks, raiderfan420. I'm not sure what to use since I've found that most things I've tried to mix with H&G do not play well with it.

I tweak my EC to the strain using the Aquaflakes and then follow the feed charts for all the rest. You run Bud XL and shooting powder at the same time, but do not want to mix Top Booster and Shooting Powder. The charts are at H&G's web site.
 
yeh thought so ay cheers for ya help mate. has anybody here ever used a product called rock flower its n addictive used to add weight??
 
I have noticed a bit of Phos Def during flowering Fixed it last time with just a touch of shooting powder or you can use a bit of top booster its got Iron in it. If i recall correctly i think the label for drip clean states it has quite a bit of phos in it

Never really seen a def with the aero's i have been using but the ebb and grow buckets have shown some.

Yes, you run budxl all the way up until flush. The Shooting powder says to ru the last three week, but I flush a week with straight RO water. I do you the top booster, but only for a few days 4 weeks out. I basically follow this chart http://www.humboldtwholesale.com/files/images/HG_feedchart_Hydro_AquaFlakes_Cocos_AB.jpg The only thing I add is some silcate and cal/mag.
