did you transplant them recently? and how many lights do you have over the plant?

thought this was appropriate for the thread....

Here's a quick pic of the reflector I'm putting in the back of my area, It's just bare cardboard right now, the mylar going on it is on the floor in the pic.

Cardboard = Free
Emergency blanket = about $1.80
Time spent so far = roughly5 minutes to cut the box up.

i looked at the plants this morning and they seem to be doing better. im going to hold off on the nutes. i also decided that my babies wont be in the dog house for much longer. im turning an old dresser into a cab. im sawing all the drawer supports out and covering the front with plywood with hinges. it wont be too haggard. especially with my hps. its 4'x2'x1.5' so the size is pretty decent too. im stoked on the new idea. i will of course post pics when i have it finished

nice, I can't wait for the warm weather to move in so I can garbage hunt on the side of the roads for a decent cab project. good luck.

I feel right at home here. I started this grow with no idea what i was doing. After reading post after post here i learned that everything i'd done was wrong from the very start. I had no idea about anything growing related. Who can't grow a weed? Turns out i couldn't. After learning how important light was for a healthy grow, i was inspired to build this little set up. Haven't figured out what to do when the big one grows another five inches or so. I got both girls in some fox farm soil with bat guano and worm castings. I've got a 105w (400w equivalant) cfl backed up with a 100w soft white bulb. Just a small 2 speed fan. Started feeding the cheese this week with some shultz 10-15-10. The fist pics are from feb 2 with out the set up. The others are from today. The big plant is a reserva privada confedintial cheese, the other is a little l.a. woman seedling planted 10 days ago

check it.

ok heres the story. i was FUCKED up when i started this grow. i started it in the ballin ass money cup that i have. the next day i wake up and realize there can be no drainage from a coffee mug lol so i transplant it into a taco bell cup. then i realize i didnt cut holes in the bottom because im retarded. so i cut holes but they're too big and the soil now doesnt hold enough water so i have to transplant them AGAIN. so these girls are only 10 days oldish and have already been transplanted twice. thats why the round leaves look yellow. they're starting to come back though. i noticed in the pics the plants look yellowish too. they're not its just the camera.

ok so the current setup is 1 23w, 1 26w, 1 28w, 1 20w (the long light). thats 97w's for those of you not willing to do simple math. i have a 150w ballast in the mail though WOOT WOOT. then im probably going to add one 40w cfl and that will be my lighting.

future plans...seal off the front of the dog house with plywood/hinges. ill stand it up too. definitely lst'ing all my ladies. im making a carbon filter or two. buying a couple little exhaust/intake fans. maybe an oscillating fan if i think the current ones not good enough. thinking about getting the 'recipe for success" nutes. this should be a good little ghetto grow if its not found lol.

Round leaves turn yellow on there own and they die on there own. Dont worry about them, the round leaves have died on every plant so far I have grown. The transplanting alot when they are a seedling doesnt matter either because they have not developed a good root system yet so there is no root system to disturb and stress the plant. The number 1 noob failer is trying to do too much for your plants. Like over watering and over fertilizing and other shit like that. Just love them take care of them but dont cling to them if you know what I mean. Cannabis is a very hearty plant so they are not going to die over night unless you have a serious problem. I thought if I told you this it would help you keep them alive without over doing it. In this previous paragraph I am asuming this is your first grow, if not then you should know this already. Peace dude good luck with the plants. Oh yea almost for got to tell you, never put two plants in the same container, always in seperate containers.

***Perbs Thanks for the input on the light. I'm going to go with 2 of the 200w I believe and try to avoid using any of the small CFL's.

-----figured I'd drop in with some pics of my grow. Check out the nug that I had burnt early in the grow pic 6 (#364) I was thinking I would lose the top of that plant but it seems to have split out and doubled in size.....not sure how.....wish I had done that to all the plants! :hump: The plants seem to have some yellowing going on, not sure why could be lack of lighting still need more side lighting. The gnats I was fighting seem to have calmed down as well. i'm going to try that walmart soil someone had mentioned and see how that works. I really like the 5 gal buckets that I'm using this time as opposed to the 1 gal last time BIG dif in the plant size.

Anyone have any comments or suggestions please feel free!

:peace:
