Quick question:

Why on earth would anyone support marijuana being completely free to the market? The very same pharma and tobacco companies that have been lobbying against us from the beginning are going to be the ones who benefit from it the most. Nothing good will come of it. The big dogs will control the market and make the money while small time local shows will fade out from the fierce competition, which is absolutely disgraceful. They've been the ones to supply the good shit to us all during these tough times. They've been the ones showing the people of this nation that growing and smoking pot doesn't make you a throat-cutting cartel or some drug-crazed loon. If it weren't for them, our movement to decriminalize would have no legitimacy (think about trying to convince the public to decriminalize if our supply was from nothing but those bastard cartels.).

Hell, without them there wouldn't BE a movement.

Who would you rather have next to you, a store that sells Budweiser or MS-13?

For the most part it's people profiting off of the current system + people who've been told misinformation by those who profit off of the current system.
really way to make an assumption. Great disinformation your self

could you be a little more clear. i don't get it.

it's all people, from all areas, voting yes and no. it's NOT just dealers voting no and it's not just smokers voting yes. it's getting pretty redundant with all the "no voters are greedy" and "yes voters are stupid". anybody have ANYTHING new to offer?

Some growers are greedy and stupid (*) and some smokers are likewise, Most people fall somewhere inbetween. The issue is as has been discussed many times in this thread and still exists. The proposition favors smokers and penalizes growers in general. All the ranting by growers will not change the vote. I say it passes by a large margin, for smokers sake, I hope I'm right. It falls into place that this should bring down the price into a reasonable range, say 25.00-100.00 an OZ. This will infuriate some small time growers, (*) but the large corporate growers could certainly live with this price structure. Will the quality go down, maybe, but the market will favor quality over quanity, I mean, wouldn't you buy the better stuff for the same price, or a few dollars more?

I don't think this will have much affect on price. It will remain illegal under federal law. There may even be an increase in price in the beginning because demand may shoot up before supply does. Either way, the price will need to be kept relatively fixed since it really won't be any cheaper to produce. Who really knows?:-?

I'm voting yes, Yeah that's right yes. Although in reality I can't vote in Ca. elections, I've convinced a few of my friends whom live there to vote yes. I say fuck the greedy growers, both large and small whom rape mega profits from a god given herb. Let growing for all be legal. No more 350.00-500.00 an OZ pot. 25.00-100.00 tops. Haters commence:

THAT's just what you don't understand, this California vote does concern ALL Americans, because the outcome may affect them, too.

I know, I know, it's tough to grasp the big picture. Please try.
