The nut from the northeast

Howdy folks! I'm a new around these parts as well as completely new to growing. I'm looking forward to learning and getting advice from wonderful folks here. Unfortunately my past growing attempts have all ended miserably with exploding horse drawn carriages and spontaneous howler monkey appearances. I'm hoping to change that.

medieval Police?

Wow thoughts of "high" speed horse drawn carriage chases is a new one on me.
I take it howler monkey is a "relative" term?

Well best of grows to you for the future and Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome guys! I wouldn't say I had bad luck, I was merely a little overeager and tried to do things I don't know how to do, like make a grow box.

What? A Grow Box is a right of passage!

awe man.. you gotta!

Don't worry.. I made my first one and used it two seasons then from what I learned I modified that. Then rebuilt it completely. Then have been redesigning the air, lights and the rack for the lights. Now I am real close to happy with it.

Any help I can be just let me know. I am considering a business of helping people!

Oh I plan to finish my grow box, once I have a better grasp on what lights to use and how to set up ventilation. A cheap fluorescent light and a reptile uvb bulb without ventilation doesn't seem to work too well from my own experience.

I could write a book.

Today's Genetics; mail order; are pampered and some times take special care. best bet is Indica Dominate if in the Northern hemi.

Afghani is a hearty strain,

As for design? Acclimated seeds produces good results.
The soil it grows in,, Has an influence.

Plants expect the Sun.. They expect environmental boundaries.

I'd say a UV is not enough too.
