The number - another cfl grow

welcome.
If you are ever wondering what I am up to, this thread should serve up a constant update of my current CFL grow, which will transition to HPS for flowerings..

Maui Wowie and PE
Started germinating the seeds, got two of four total to pop, so 50% success...good enough for me.
Here was the initial prepping area lined in a space blanket

you can see a little over watering there...might have lost the plant just between over watering and mistakenly mixing a small amount of soil with nutes mixed in.
Originally tried t5 lighting on the MW, but it started looking a little ill, switched it to CFL and it started to take off..

The room has changed quite a bit, the prepping room has two one gallon pots with an oscillating fan blowing a strong breeze through there. Right now they are each under two 100w(26w, 2700k) need to switch to 6500k spectrum but I am holding off till I switch to their new cabinet. Will have a 150w HPS for each plant, going to grid them into a cabinet... will update soon with pics of the cab.

This is my third grow, and as usual I am starting from scratch. I make shit up as I along! the feds call me the Master Craftsmen! more to come!

we were just sitting around sharing a bowl asking ourselves, "Ya know hat the fuck has #'s been up too lately?"

MH will grow better in the long run vs CFL's

of coarse, but will also conserve much more energy for such a small plant.. I have enough CFL's to veg a handful of plants, thirty or so bulbs... I have grown MH and I would like to try HPS for flowering and see what I end up with.

the HID lights are always better than the CFL's

but i veg with T5's and flower with 400HPS

looking good, hoping those 2700ks dont turn out as bad as you think. i was all worried and shit about my vegging watts, but im noticing more and more that mines pretty much the same size as other peoples plants at the same age. after 3 weeks im sure the growth gets a bit more noticeable, but ill be flowering soon anyway so it probably doesnt matter much.

are you gonna lst? how has your 400w worked out in the past?

Awesome man. I'm sub'd. Im using the same shit pretty much.. 26w 2700ks for veg and 150w hps for flower lol. That's cool man. Ill be watchin.

yes very much LST, I personally had great results with the four-hundred MH but the fed took it as a parting gift.

I will wait another week before traning it, as of now they are branching off very symetrical. looks like two healthy plants so far, but always growing more seedlings to keep the assembly line going!

how did u get busted the first time?

I was visiting family in ca, while roommate celebrated his birthday with 50+ people all day long with loud music. cops were called, they showed up, smelled the weed super strong because they were all smoking blunts and joints inside with the door cracked. he never called to say they came saturday, but they came back sunday with a warrent and I got off the plane sunday night at three AM with a long voicemail about how I basically didn't have a place to sleep at night. Never trust your roommate. I would never allow more than 5 or so people TOPS.. The grow was in my room in the closet so the party-goers had no idea but the cops busted right in that shit..

Wtf. I would be pissed. So, they did find the plant? It being so young i would try to pass it off as another plant lol.

I harvested a week or so beforehand, and it was cut to the bottom. They just took everything, didn't leave me with anything but a mess.
