Hello, I thought for my first grow I would record my journey here, hopefully to gather as much constructive criticism from the more experienced as possible.

For my lab I am using a mylar 2'x4'x5 grow tent, using a full spectrum 1000w light, for the small size this thing is a boss, and it keeps my heat regulated and adjustable using my central heat and air as the controller. For air I use a 4" ducting booster fan (it never gets hot) pulling from the top, and the tent came with the Velcro flap-covered screens at the bottom and an inner mylar lined tray.

My girls are Colorado dispensary sourced Northern Lights, cloned myself from a 6'8" soil grown mother plant, (she was purdy) which was in her first month of flowering. I cut both from about 4' up in the bushiest, and widest section of the canopy. 45° cuts with sterilized scalpel, scraping lightly around bottom 2" of stem. No hormone, just purified water.

I am doing a bubble pot/Coco hybrid, using Advanced Nutrients perfect pH. Strictly dosing as per the instructions, keeping my pH balance at a solid 6.0. I did not do anything other than prepare the bubble pots, and nutes, and triple check the pH in the water and the Coco.(I rehydrated the Coco with distilled water mixed lightly with nutes) Then they went 4" deep into a 6" net pot. 24hr light, and I used 44ounce opaque plastic cups as my dome, worked like a champ. Misted twice a day with the same distilled water and nute mix I used for the Coco, and carried on for about 11 days, trimming some big leaves away as they started to yellow. Then I switched them over to the clear jugs for three more days, two days later they were standing tall with no jug so I trimmed back most of the remaining big leaves to expose the new growth and took some pics. I'm going to leave them in indirect light for a few more days then go full on 18hr cycle somewhere between 18"-24" from the tops. And I pinched them a LITTLE bit yesterday, they asked me to.
