The Media Blackout of Ron Paul continues, as if you didn't need more evidence of this, we have another report from the media just like we see everyday completely blacking out Ron Paul, the video has commentry to explain it a bit. Nothing unusual here, nothing to see here, move along sheeple.

Ron Paul's Rally has over 5,200 in attendence in wisconsin while a trio Romney, Santorum, Gingrich rally has around 1,000 supporters in TOTAL. Dr Paul's rally is not even reported on the media while the other 3's "rally" are discussed, Ron Paul's name is not even mentioned. The media even reports that there are only 3 GOP contendors. Dr Paul's rally's continue to pack colleges while the other candidates attract a hand full of people in some sleezy motel ballroom.

Boy the Republican's are sure digging a ditch for themselves. Looks like another 4 years of Obama if they get their way.

You know the republicans had a chance to save their party from drowning in a sea of corruption with Dr Paul, it looks like they blew it. The people will not stand for this and the republican partys legacy will soon be over. The information age will usher in the death of such blatant corruption.

Local news is not mainstream media. Especially a Milwaukee local news channel. However the Wisconsin primary is approaching and it is a Wisconsin news station.

BTW they were covering that event because those three were speaking there. Ron Paul did not speak at the "Candidates speak at Wisconsin faith and freedom forum"

He doesn't have anymore scheduled appearances after his last one that was on the 29th of March.

Stop being butthurt. They were covering a event he wasn't at. Why would they bring him up when referring to the news story on an event that had nothing to do with him. That was Ron Paul's choosing not to be there.

I dont know where you guys get your info but all my sources seem to mention him. The only one who doesnt is Al-Jazeera for the most part. They seemed focused on Romney and Santorum. They constantly talk about Ron Paul and how he is going to play his delegates at the convention on MSNBC lol.

Exactly its the same shit everyday for a long time now. If your rooting for Ron Paul your listening for mention of him on anything...and you don't get that...he is totally ignored on every media outlet..It is very suprising to hear him even mentioned in a short sentence on NPR or anything...

You have to be a puppet to have a chance, be willing to break your campaign promises if need be when the special interests and real men in power pull your strings, Ron Paul doesnt play that game.

Besides Americans are stupid muppets themselves they conform to public opinion from what they wear, eat, drive to who they vote for, they are scared to veer away from the herd .

Yea they did start talking about him on MSNBC awhile back but conservatives dont watch MSNBC...sorry your just not paying attention to this if you don't notice. I did a 500 page thread on this showing each day how they black him out, its a bit more than a coincidence.

There is two different contexts for when using all. There is all as in 4 candidates in the race. On the other hand there is all as in all 3 candidates that showed up spoke about babys and bombs.

Those three were the only ones to show up so they became all 3 because it is in context of the event not the entirety of the GOP nominee race.

My radio arts degree is worth at least that. lol Its a terrible industry filled with stupid people who are just trying to bang and make money. 100% Truth anyone that has worked in Radio or TV will attest to all three of those said qualities.

A media blackout would entail a conspiracy to keep him out because of his ideas and unleashed power. In reality though it is ratings and cutting news stories down to fit between breaks. At least on the local level when these primaries roll into town the local news is only going to mention the head of the pack after all of the weeks of hub bub about them showing up in the first place. Cause after a while people get tired of it and feel like the news channels are beating a dead horse by covering not just the front runners every single time they go on TV.
Remember media outlets don't run to keep there base of viewers/listeners but rather to expand and grab the fringe listeners/viewers and they are a pain in the ass.

Now does FOX cable news have a agenda or maybe even another station? possible. I do hear about him constantly though.

It's sad actually. I believe he would be leading the GOP race if he was at least mentioned once in a while. Some positive media air time goes a long way in this country.

IDK why you guys aren't just focusing on that Rand Paul for V.P. thing.

We could start a movement to add Ron Paul to everyone's Google News feed. That'd be fun. It seems like plenty of literature about him daily. Id be ok with that cause then more people would realize how much the crazy side of his policies outweigh the cool ideas.

2,000+sources, look at that

ThatGuy, Good posts but I am sorry you haven't seen the blackout. It is not just coincidence, I am sorry it is just not. I follow news radio every day on my LONG drive in to work and every station is the same in they intentionally avoid mentioning him every single day. The internet is a totally different story from Television and Radio. Rupert Murdoch owns Fox News Corp which runs many media outlets and HE DOES set the agenda its been admitted countless time by many reporters. Perhaps some of it might seem a bit overblow or it is, or we can chalk it up to certain reasons but its just not coincidence that you can listen to thousands of hours of NPR/FOX Radio/CBS radio WHATEVER this year and hear ONE STORY and then 5 sentances of him in total when they had FULL coverage of this election. All of this time spent talking about the elections and they DO NOT EVEN SO MUCH AS MENTION HIS NAME and this is constent from day to day!

Further, a lot of these reporters, "Pundits", and anchors on for example CNN are basically insiders themselves in some way, its a complete conflict of interest when half the pundits are hanging out with lobbyist and shit.

Ron Paul has a lot going against him. Big Pharma + Big Agg + War profiteers - The list goes on and on.

Listen to NPR then. Or a Alex Jones podcast.

Local media is terrible. Its not a intentional blackout when they do it. They just do it cause time is money and they dont have a lot of money. The culture of working there is just like that. Just get straight to the point. So if he isnt making big enough waves he wont get picked up. I will give you the fact that some media sources that are on the larger end size of businesses will have an agenda. That agenda always changes though but it will choose who to avoid and who to look at. Its only based on what is going on in the world today though. Everyone gets their turn under the microscope or time being ignored by the establishment. Its a issue every one faces when being critiqued by MASS MEDIA sources. It should be common knowledge that if you want to find the news you have to know where to look and actually look for yourself and not expect the truth to be brought to you by all sources. Someone will always be controlling the puppet strings of media for a advantage or disadvantage of a certain person group so on.

He ran GOP because of what happened to Nader. Do you know how many people are still convinced by the mainstream media that Nader is insane? It's fucking ridiculous.

Politics has always been corrupt...there is no changing it...and there have been a handful of people that have stood out throughout history as trying to change things, but we see by today that nothing really changes...there are too many people that choose to look the other way in this world for anything to ever change too much...

Make any excuse you want, but the bottom line is Ron Paul knew exactly how he was going to be treated and he knew the GOP would never give him the NOD... and yet he still ran GOP...he's either stupid or really didn't want to be POTUS and only wanted to get his message heard
