The Making Of A Monster!

i will get you some room shots in the evening tommarow. i have been keeping onto of the flowering. i have been fighting to rid myself of some afids that i suppose moved in with the soil.

I wish i could run down the street and grab some clones.....

here is where we are at right now.

First tray is day 20, slight yellowing from the bottom is noted, i have to dismiss this for now as these plants have had little critters attacking the roots. Second tray Day 15
flower, full lush plants no major problems yet.

Third flowering try is a temp 600 we through together, it needs a 1000 watt place there now. that trya is day 7.

now on the veg side i have about 40 new seedlings. about 8 very small rooted clones.
i raped a full tray to take some new mothers to another room.

they are in day 3 of flower. there will be a 2 week grace period. before i flip anything.

i have another set of seeds in late sexing. they are more sativa then i like and will cherry pick them based on short bushy stature,

i have a total of about 15 small rooted female clones, these will fill nearly 2 more trays.
at this point i will be more selective, i have to maintain room for all the new seedlings.

theres vairous clones still rooting. after we make one more set of mothers we will do a
large clone run. I have to over veg a bit to make sure i can fill holes from deleted plants.

Sometimes i find it eaiser to delete a bad plant then to fight the bugs and other problems. on new strains i will find loose or less desirable plants and kill them. i want to ensure a good strad flow.

Now the 2 week pause i spoke of gives me 2 weeks to trim the first wave.
So after the pause i will need to fill 7-9 more spots. So i factor 10 days to root 14 days of veg. i need to time the clones. i will rape a entire plant. So i flowered the first tray
12/30

given rough math most will be finished feb 20- march 3. so i need to clone these FEB 1.

i will start making more complex notes later as there will be nearly 250 clones and young plants.

take a few weeks and enjoy Trentons fantastic grow. this will give more more of a handle on all this.

Whats up Abud? Waiting to see your continuance. I am really impressed by your light management. Many people tend to think that you need tons of light to grow but the footprints you stand by for the 400, 600 & 1000 watt grow areas are correct.

i have many different wattages. i really step up though

veg 400 - 600

flower 600- 1000

i change ballasts and trays alot. i use lower wattage when ever i can. i am very concerned with wasting wattage.

i have flowered with all of these lights, the lower wattage i just grow shorter bushier plants

with the larger bulbs i use taller plants....

Ok update time, first off i am sorry for the lack of steady updates, i have been fighting some health issues that left me in the hospital, i have been fighting severe pain and as a result i finally found the cause. there is no quick fix for the stones i have and more pain to come i am sure.....

However, as we were speaking above i got a few hours work in after i returned from the hospital last night.

i am uploading them as soon as they are done i will update this thread

Ok first off this will be tray #3 we are looking at, it is day 8 of flower now. they plants have been loaded with nitrogen to green and help weather the plant till the next dose of nitro @ week 3.

Overall the tray is above adverage on health, i notice a slight afid presence here also. i am on the first week of predator treatment. i hope to see a massive reducton this time next week. Also tuesaday is the scheduled delevery date of the last wave of root afid predators i am using.

Anyways here is the tray i will upgrade the reflector and light from a 600 watt hps to 1000..

the new reflector is still a 6" air cooled it just makes a better footprint.

It is the cool star plus (by silverstar)

here are some in natural light, you can see the fresh growth rate daily by the new tips....

notice the very very high levels of nitro. this is to help inhibit yellowing,

Next issue to address in this room is the fact that these 2 4x4 trays are too big.

i have a few extra feet in the closet i will have to put into play. i have yet to finalize the air cooling as i havent decided on the final configuration

by using the corner in the closet it will allow me a little extra room to access the trays better. this way i can draw air from the closet also for the cooling

this is about as far as i will take this room today.

i added the Y to the wall and took a few pictures...

Enjoy the lush green now as this is the starting point for massive yellowing. in a matter of about 2 weeks these will have depleated nearly all the extra nitro...

good job man, i have been following this thread for a while and aspire to what you are doing. Anyways, i was wondering if you could point me into the right direction for large reflectors. Mine are all sunsystems and the largest i could get a hold of was something like 21inches by 18 or so. What brand are yours and where can i find those (a website or something, im nowhere near texas)?

these are super tough to get. i have some spec pictures i can show you and i will give you a link to the supplier. i get these slightly cheaper then advertised, if you need a bulk order of 10-50 that is no problem. We have 2 pallets available.
