The Main-Lining Thread

This thread ( as well as all of the 'more advanced' guru's that are answering the many questions ) that are being asked, is FANTASTIC !! :-). I am sure that there are many that have been answered prior, but some are taking the time in answering them once again. This is rare nowadays, but I am so glad it is not happening on this thread ... it shows so much peace and harmony.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I take it that the Vortex Strain (from clone), must be one of the hardest to Main-Line. I am having a bitch of a time, and wondering if perhaps there are any tricks of the trade to make it a little bit easier. Thanks in advance for all of the help:-)

LOL ... Sorry I had a moment there... The issue it seems is that the Vortex Strain does not produce a good and hearty branch, especially when I have a 4-head and going towards completing it to get to an 8-head, they are no thicker than a branch that has larf on it. (I wish I had my camera back from the repair shop). I have completed an 8 head Blueberry, as well as a Chernobyl, so I have the technique ... It just does not seem to work on Vortex, or it may be me not doing something correctly.

Thanks again :-)

I have a shark attack that does this huge buds on a twig ,but thankfully they got these things called tomato cages! The only way i have found to get it to thicken up is to not top or train her at all but then i just end up with one huge bud on top <avatar

...the best way to run vortex is to start Main-Lining her real early, to 16 or even 32 in this case, then just let her do her thing through a simple scrog.......:leaf:

That is what I have used MOJO on the (4) that are coming down Sunday. (In matter of fact, I would like to make square cages ... another project for the HoneyDew List ..... Would be sweet to have (8) Donkey Tails of Vortex times 12 on my next run !! :-) :-)

Thats why I was confused because I know if you build that hub from the beginning and veg for the right height those branches are going to be solid as hell. I assumed you were running the vortex mainlined already I thought maybe you just had one so the pheno wasnt the best.

Thanks Nugs .... So I was waiting too long to start them, and not doing the Scrog with them ... I can see where that would make a big difference, as I was waiting to the 5th node to start.

I have tried several so far ThatGuy, but now I can see where I went wrong by not starting quicker, and having some type of support for her :-)

Thanks again everyone ... very much appreciated :-)

Hey Nugs, Ive been tinkering with white balancing and wow the difference is big but I wonder which one looks better?

I feel like some people would like the LED/ bright white glow pic but others would like the more natural green.
