The LSD made me do it!

Hey guys.

I just got 3 seeds from barneys. The awesome sounding LSD. I've read what I've been able to find I understand it needs some good nutes and is very durable.

But can anyone give me a link for someone with a grow journal or any other solid info? It'd be nice to know what kinda nutes I should be lookin for and what it responds to the best.

I'm in a 4x4x6 with a 250 watt MH/HPS in soil.

I'm doing a soil run with Barneys LSD under a 250w now.Im in 5th week of bloom. I've been giving them 3 Tbs of Tigerbloom,1 Tbs of Humbolt Countys Own "Snow" along with 1 Tbs of molasses per gallon of water. These girls love to drink down. Seems the stronger the nutes, the more they load up.Will try to post some pictures.Hope this helped.Happy Farming

the LSD i had recently was called that because it was a "Luke Skywalker Diesel."
but the one on barney's i think they advertise as a skunk hybrid.

It is a Skunk #1 and Mazar hydrid. I'm growing a set of 4 outside (and grabbing one of them early pretty soon) and I have another 8 about a month away from being done inside, and they are grow hydroponically. I did the inside group as a test batch for grow media, and I have found Pro-Mix is stomping rockwool's spongy ass. If you can put them in 8 inch pots you will be able to do little more than giggle until it comes to harvest time. They are very strong, and as you mentioned, very nute tolerant. I was following GH Flora's nute guidelines until a couple of weeks ago and I have been increasing it slightly and maintaining to see if the plants respond negatively and they haven't yet. For flower I am adding 8 tsp per gallon as compared to the 6 tsp per gallon guideline, and they are loving it. I'm not sure if I will be going much higher since I will have to start flushing in a couple of weeks. One more thing- Pro-Mix is very tolerant to pH fluctuations (I have fed from as low as 4.8 and as high as 6.5 with no indications of nute lock out) and it is also 1/4th the cost of rockwool per volume.

Good choices napcas and newb- I cheated and snuck a couple of samples and all I can say is "holy shiiiiiiiiiiit"

Good luck with the grows!

Hey guys. Quick update. LSD has done great so far. Smells amazing. It's about 2 feet tall, topped and trained now so the stem is starting to create a spiral. Responding great.

Couple problems though. At one point she went through a minor nitrogen deficency, which I corrected promptly with a bit of foliar feeding and some added to the soil as well. She came back great.

Now here's the wierd part. A few of the leaves have yellowing/browning tips and are start to curl a tad. Sounded like nitrogen to me, but what's got me confused is the light brown blotches (about 1-3 cm wide, irregular shapes) with darker brown outlines. They're only visible on the higher fan leaves, and the rest look healthy as can be, maybe a little yellow.

I thought maybe calcium or iron, and added a couple eggshells to the soil, but I'm just lookin for a second opinion. What ya got?
