The Loveshack - Semi-Stealth LED/CFL grow cabinet

Hi everyone and thanks for passing by my thread,

After working on this project on and off for about 3 months, I’ve finally completed my grow cabinet and though it would be time to share with fellow growers :leaf:

I’ve transformed an old TV unit into a 2 room cabinet. All the walls were covered with black and white poly and sealed with duck tape and then layered with some mylar to help diffuse the light around the rooms. Both rooms have an intake fan to help bring in fresh air and both exhaust into the mid section where another fan pulls the air through an air filter and out of the cabinet. I’ve also added an ionizer in the room to help eliminate the smell.

The top section is my veg room. It’s lit by 2 24inch daylight fluos and supplemented with a 42W CFL.

The bottom section if my flowering room. It’s lit up by a homemade LED panel made up of 80 (50 red and 30 blue) 3W chinese LEDs for about 180W and a 42W CFL helps supplement it.

I’m growing in soil and I’m using General Hydroponics Flora Series nutrients. I also like to add a bit of molasses in my water from time to time.

The ladies are Dinafem Critical+ that I started from seeds. They have been vegging for about 2 months and a half since the seeds popped and just transferred them into flower this morning. Had a little trouble with low soil PH but things are looking good nonetheless. This is my first grow so I’m still learning :-P Couldn’t have done it without all the info in the forums so thanks to everyone in the community for helping first timers as myself :)

I’ll be updating this thread with pics as they get bigger and better ;)

Thanks groove! I'll try to catch a couple pics tonight of the panel when it'll switch off. I really hope I'll get a decent yeild out of these, if not i might consider buying a premade panel and use mine for vegging. Anyone else ever got into building it's own LED panel? Let me know how it worked out for ya.

Peace

Ok here are some update pics of the ladies after 5 days of flowering.
I added some square mylar sheets over the pots so more light is reflected to the plants. It also help keep the soil wet and cooler. Could this cause any trouble to the roots?

Also added a couple pics of the panel I built.

Ok so it's been a week since I updated, here are a couple pics from day 11 of flower. Bud sites are starting to bloom beautifully and the plants have grown about 2 inches, hope i'm gonna have enough room for the last weeks :? Are there tricks I can use to control the height of my ladies? I know of LST but it's too late for that I think.

Lost a couple LEDs in the process but I'll repair everything and I'll be ready for a second grow :)
